Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE (2013)
I don’t actively post on this blog anymore but I want you to know that i do not, under any circumstances, support JK Rowling’s transphobic rhetoric or any other kind of TERF.
Trans women are women. Someone else’s gender identity is none of your business. Someone else’s biological sex or genitalia is also none of your business.
I am a WOC and not too many decades ago white upper class women like JKR excluded black, indigenous, Asian, south Asian and other women from their narrow definitions of feminism because our issues and experiences were different from theirs and would apparently detract from their own. Now people say the same sort of thing when it comes to trans women.
Your feminism should be intersectional or else it isn’t actually about equality. Women have a great variety of experiences and backgrounds but what we do share is being marginalized in some way for being who we are. That is not acceptable.
My advice to you, which I am going to be applying to myself as well, is go out there and read books and watch movies by people from a variety of backgrounds, even people who are different from you. Read books by BIPOC and queer and trans authors. Read fantasy by BIPOC and queer and trans authors. Especially now. Don’t give your money to hateful people.
I can’t wait for the day we see Tina’s picture inside Newt’s suitcase.
“Your 20’s are your ‘selfish’ years. It’s a decade to immerse yourself in every single thing possible. Be selfish with your time, and all the aspects of you. Tinker with shit, travel, explore, love a lot, love a little, and never touch the ground.”

Newt Scamander
Fantastic Beasts
What I love the most about this it’s that Newt is being actually dragged to be reported but he, as this soft adorable English Hufflepuff gentleman, curved his arm as if he was walking with Tina by the arm.
I’m screaming.
Burning Questions with the Cast of Fantastic Beasts
(x)
If Eddie Redmayne ever looked at me and said with his soft voice that my eyes are like salamanders’ I’d probably give him my whole life without hesitation.
the moment Grindelwald says that, Theseus takes a step down as if to say “I think the fuck not” - because no one hurts his baby brother.
“Newt pulls the picture of her from his breast pocket and unfolds it. She is inordinately touched. He looks from the picture to Tina.”
Newt: Alright, game plan! Go to Paris. Find Tina. Tell her I’m not engaged. Tell her I love her. Proceed to then get married. Have children. Be together forever.
Everyone else: and…find Credence and stop Grindelwald, right?
Newt: uh…sure, if there’s time.

Like or reblog if you’re a pro-Fantastic Beasts blog!
Not asking for super fans or anything (if you are tho, that’s awesome), just leave a like or reblog if you really enjoy the Fantastic Beasts movies! It’d be nice to know who else out there really likes the series so far!
And if you don’t like them, you’re totally entitled to your opinion!! Just be mature, keep scrolling; why waste words on something you don’t like, yeah?
