Hello! I'm Newt or Dani, whichever you prefer! Pronouns are she/her but they/them works as well.

I like to write fanfiction when I feel like procrastinating working on my novel. I post all of my works either on my personal ao3 (newtsdaisies) or the account I share with my friend on ao3 (wonderwriters). If you see any of my works elsewhere please let me know.

I like a lot of fandoms, am a total Greek mythos nerd, and am currently obsessed with EPIC and Hades I & II.

Feel free to use this blog as a means of communication with me about any of the fics I write. I'll be using this tumblr as my main means of giving status updates, asking for opinions, and whatever else this turns into.

Also a fun way to announce I'm making time to work on Snow and have already started on Chapter 12!! The goal is to get Snow finished before the 1.0 update.... we shall see how that goes!

Hi again everyone! Been working overtime all week (and will be next week as well rip) so I just now logged in to check messages about the beta reader post. I've had two people reach out and messaged them back so that's probably good for now! However I'm sure I'll post more beta reader opens in the future so keep an eye out!

I'm slowly getting back into writing and I mean slowly. I'm editing a few past projects and working on a future piece while I try to regain my footing with writing Melinoe for Snow on the Beach. Below are a few ideas of what you'd be working with and what exactly I'm looking for in a beta.

What's the Fic?

Fandom: EPIC the Musical

A retelling of the musical if it was Penelope who went to war

Multiple chapters! Think 30+

Will not be published until fic is completed, beta read, and edited.

This is gonna be a 'long-term' sort of project because I have a job and a lot of responsibilities outside of my hobbies. Please keep that in mind as I'd prefer to have 1-2 betas in it for the long haul.

Chapters will range from 2k-5k.

What I'm looking for:

Grammatical corrections

Plot holes

Sentence flow issues

Suggestions to improve the overall writing of the story

Willingness to exchange discords (as that's where I am more often than not and will make communication easier)

Hi everyone!!! Just dropping a little update to let you all know how things are going.

Life's been stressful and hectic again, but I'm learning to cope with it better (maybe). Currently working on editing and rewriting portions of the Murder of Bats series as my writing has grown a lot since I published the first two thanks to @aerococonut.

I won't be reposting them on ao3, but instead just quietly updating the content and posting a little edit date in the a/n. I have the most inspiration and ideas for the the current WIP in that series (Wings of Leather) so that's what I'm choosing to devote my time to atm.

I'm hoping to scrounge up some good inspo for Snow soon because I want to finish it and I know there are a lot of people waiting (sorry about that).

Hi everyone! Hope you're all well!! My job has been going really great, but it's been very mentally & creatively draining. This on top of a lot of personal health things going on in my family has made it difficult for me to have the inspiration or the motivation to indulge in any of my hobbies.

I'm starting to get the writing itch again and have been working on a couple separate pieces behind the scenes, but I'm hoping as I get into the groove of things with work, that I'll be able to start working on Snow again among other WIPs already on ao3.

I am so sorry for the long wait and I appreciate everyone's patience and all the kind comments that have been left on the fic during my hiatus.

Hi everyone!!! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and a great start to the year! Just wanted to update everyone who's waiting for updates specifically on Snow on the Beach with a few things!

I'm still adjusting to work/ilfe balance. My new job involves a lot of numbers, words, and research. It's pretty mentally exhausting for me and usually by the end of the day I'm burnt out. Hopefully this will start getting better.

With @aerococonut's slightly aggressive encouragement, I'm slowly hacking away at a few wips I have. I'm hoping to get started on the next chapter of Snow as well as finish a couple of one-shots and a small multichapter that I've been working on when the inspiration strikes.

Thank you for your patience and I hope you'll find all future updates worth waiting for!!!!

Hey everyone!!! First week of my new job was entirely exhausting. I've been very slowly working on some of my fics in the background. Hey everyone!!! I see from the poll the other day that Cove x Jamie was the highest-picked choice and I already have an outline done for that. However, apparently, Baxter Ward has a death grip on me after playing the DLC so instead I'm working on something for that between working on Snow on the Beach.

I start my new job on Monday so please be patient with me if I don't post much/at all for a bit as I get into the rhythm of things and find a good balance between work, hobbies, and other responsibilities.

Just wanted to make a little update post to let everyone know that I'm still actively working on Snow on the Beach even though there hasn't been an update in almost a week.

I've been working on improving my writing and making an outline for the rest of the fic since the lovely @aerococonut helped explain outlining to me!
