Japanese Language Reading Resources
I needed to put all my reading resources in one place lol
Tadoku - free books from beginner to advanced aimed at language learners. The books from level 0 - 4 contain furigana.
YomuJP - More free japanese graded reading material. N6 is the easiest and N1 is the hardest. Contains audio, furigana and pictures.
Jgrpg Sakura - Japanese graded reading material. You need to create an account first though
Watanoc - Web magazine aimed at language learners in easy japanese. N5-N3. Contains audio, pictures and you can hover over unknown words to reveal the meaning.
Soseki Product - This website is dedicated to the works of Natsume SĆseki and it's also aimed at language learners so there's furigana, audio and translation. These novels are from the 1900s so it might be a bit difficult but I think it's really fun
MeikaSensei - Blog posts aimed at beginners. There's beginner versions and intermediate versions of the same post. Contains furigana
Bunsuke - Contains excerpts from books with translations and vocabulary lists. Also has links to the books used. Made by a fellow language learner :)
Ehon - Picture books aimed for 0-6 year olds. Doesn't seem to contain kanji. Some books contain audio
Lingual ninja - This website is for learning hiragana/katakana/grammar/vocab/kanji but it also has a folktales section that contains audio, vocab lists and optional furigana. There's also youtube videos of each story available
yomou syosetu - Over a million free novels! I believe a lot of it is user-submitted works
Syosetsu - Similar to the above.
Bookwalker (jp) - You can read the first few volumes of manga for free here. There's also light novels and doujinshi
Aozora Bunko - digital library that contains a lot of out of copyright books
Note - User submitted posts about various topics
Easy NHK News - News in easy japanese. Contains furigana.
NHK News - The news. In Japanese
Apps
Pibo - Picture books aimed at children
Todaii - Aimed at language learners. News with furigana and pop up dictionary.
Satori Reader - Paid
Yomu Yomu - First 3 chapters are free on edit: some stories!

One is a glass, waiting to be filled with its own water. Soon the water will get lost and the glass will remain empty, still waiting for it, patiently, lonely, miserably hopeful, until the glass gets old, grew regretful, desperate of what it could have been. Now hopeful of soon it will end. They should have made The Glass strong in the beginning, they shouldn't have weakened it, crack it. They should have made its core stronger so The Glass would not give up easily, not feel hopeful of its ending. They should have made the glass out of love not out of "Must". Maybe then water wouldn't leave and the glass wouldn't have to suffer that much.
You Are a Teenager And lost? Depressed? Anxious? READ THIS.
Welcome to my Mooty Pootys, little anxious beings trying to figure out the life they think is miserable. I know some of you feeling extremely hopeless this past few weeks, or months? maybe these few years? You feel like you are being forced to live everyday right? You can't seem to find out what you are good at or do you even have any talents.
Well my Mooty Pooty, I'm here for you, I was extremely hopeless and hated every minute of my life, then things happened that forced me to change.
In this blog, you will come across of:

Philosophy Of Living
Listen you have to realize that life is not fair, it never was, it never will, no matter how much you believe there is a miracle in life, you still have to understand that mostly, 99% of the time life is unfair, when you realize that, the motivation of hard work, and thriving to success will appear.
Nothing is impossible, literally, and no i don't mean in ''If NoThInG iS iMpOsSiBle wHy i doN't HaVe SuPeRpOwErS'' please, stop. no.
To those who think that they are limited to success or their dream, are the ones who don't have proper goals and plan to achieve it, they just daydream and romanticize already successful life. Which is mostly lots of money and/or fame.
Life is not fair but that doesn't mean you should give up, hard work always pays off, ALWAYS and don't throw me some excuses now like: Success requires privilege, connections, luck. no it doesn't success requires hard work, it's always lazy people who are trying to get others down by throwing things like that, CoNneCtiOns AnD PrIvilEdGe.
Now let's get to the controversial part, what if you worked hard but still failed, all i have to say is that maybe you are working hard in something that is not meant for you, or you are not yet ready for getting its reward, are you working towards getting into Med School and then fail? It is not meant for you, there is no way and i MEAN NO WAY that you worked your ass off and didn't get what you wanted, in this case i will say that it's up to God, Universe, yourself, maybe God didn't wanted you to take that route, maybe universe tried to warn you before applying to University on a major that is not for you, maybe your subconscious tried to fight off anything other then your true desire and kept holding you back. This part, in my opinion, can be explained by something higher power then human, because again HARD WORK ALWAYS PAYS OFF.
How to Change Your Life For The Better.
Delete Tiktok. That app is poison and is sucking life out of you, it is sucking your best life which you need for socializing, studying, hobbies, instead you rot in bed scroll that 20 seconds videos which are same but in different font.
after deleting that horrible app, You need to practice going to sleep early, honeyboo if you wake up 1pm in the morning of course you won't have time to do anything, that is why you are anxious all the time, that is why you are feeling tired throughout the whole day even though you didn't actually do anything.
Socialize, literally I don't care if you suffer from Anxiety, okay and? I know it is hard, I know how horrible it is, that doesn't mean that you should use that as an excuse to not leave the house, if you have shitty classmates at school take up a hobby where you meet people with same interest, I don't care that being alone is comfortable, you will learn nothing by being alone all the time, you need people to gain experience in life, you know when you can be alone? when you are old, that is time when you are allowed to be alone, but you are young now, friends give you fun memories, their opinions about different subjects, they introduce you to things that you might actually fall in love with later.
BuT ThEre ArE BaD FrIeNdS ToO
Bad people are everywhere, bad friends teach you a lesson and you should be grateful about that, especially at an young age its a blessing to have a bad friend, you know why? because when you become adult you will have an experience with bad people, bad friends. You will know who has right energy and aura for you, you will know what you like in a friend what is right and what is wrong. THAT IS WHY YOU NEED FRIENDS WHILE BEING A TEENAGER. Healthy friendships are key to success.
Self-Esteem/Confidence.
Shower, Sunscreen, lip balm, Hair care. Hygiene. Taking care of your appearance will help you fall in love with yourself, experimenting with different minimal make up styles will help you love your features more, but remember MINIMAL make up, don't use foundation, contour and such heavy things that ''clears'' your skin because you will get addicted to using it and it will be hard to see your bear skin in mirror. Use only lip pencil, mascara, maybe eyeliner and that is it, this type of minimal make up is just to look presentable.
Confidence is a mindset.
Y'all my whole life was revolved about others, I spent my teenage years suffering and being tortured mentally because all I was thinking about was others opinions, and I had that bad habit SEVERLY, you have no idea how much I wanted to please others, the words can't even describe the severe desire to please people who I didn't even know, i wanted everyone to like me, have a good perception of me and think that i am pretty, even though at that age I wasn't and I even knew that, still i wanted others to tell me constantly that i am pretty. Many times, So many times i had a chance to overcome that disgusting mentality and you know what i did? nothing, i kept being the same because i believed in ''It doesn't work, I'm just like that, i was born like that'' no i wasn't, i had victim mindset, i also wanted others to pity me, that is how disgusting i was. THEN, something WEIRD happened, i accidently leaked screens in a group chat, where i wanted those screen the least. That day i froze, not only did i lost a friend but i also became a gossip topic for a month, now think about how i would feel with while having no self-esteem, no confidence, SEVERLY suffering from pleasing everyone. How would i feel on that day? the thing that happened didn't even made sense, EVERYTHING WAS SO COINCIDENTICAL THAT I, TILL THIS DAY BELIEVE GOD DID THAT TO ME. You know what happened after that day? i started loving myself. Mistake=Lesson. i knew no matter how many times i tried to explain that accident no one believed me, because everything happened so weirdly that it was unbelievable i did it on accident, the whole university thought i leaked the screens on purpose. After that i realized, no matter what, they won't believe me because i know the real story, so why should i spent my time and energy on explaining something they don't want to believe? after that incident Honeyboos, i FELL in love with myself, i became more open, more energetic, wasn't scared of taking risks anymore, and my grades actually improved.
I'm planning to do another blog about how Humans were made to fail and make mistakes so stay tuned.
Fall in love with studying.
Your future is on you, clean the table, start studying small parts of the homework, have a study group with friends, finishing your homework gives you sense of pride which helps you develop confidence and motivation.
you have to be better then others, try to compete with you friend academically, so that it will be more fun and challenging to study, constantly change environment for studying, if you spend one day in library, spend second day in your room, third in café and so on.
