I was thinking about how little positive representation there is for butch/stud/masc lesbians out there, so here’s a few stills from a (sadly) made-up dating sim! Who would you choose? (Inspired by @seaside-werewolf )

Wow this really got shared around & i’m telling any of y’all who haven’t seen a league of their own yet: these aren’t just background characters. They aren’t butches you see hanging around as queer rep set dressing. These women, especially Lupe (left) and Jo (center) are MAJOR characters on the show with major arcs and the three of them (including Jess on the right) are shown adored for their butchness, admired, lusted after. And they are proud, they are confident, they are portrayed with a whole palette of emotions. They can get fired up on the field but are so gentle and loving too.
It’s so beautiful to see. They’re so beautiful to witness. It’s not primarily a show about baseball. It’s primarily a show about us.
scenes from my animated thesis film, “THE OLYMPIANS”, which you can watch here! it’s about greek mythology, 70s disco, and being gay

transphobia is truly such a miserable mindset. to live in a world where no one is mutable and nothing can be abstract. no one can change or decide who they want to be or enjoy the wonders of modern medicine. everyone has to live and die by pointless kindergarten rules, but no one can reimagine themselves or create a different world. don’t you get tired of black and white and making up boxes and plugging your ears to the reality that nature is complicated and funny, and human hearts can feel infinitely?
Alex Hirsch just posted video on Instagram that Joe Pitt made on the day that Gravity Falls was greenlit!
All the way back in 2009!!
A perfect way to wrap up the 10 year anniversary of Gravity Falls premiering!

Janicke and Erik wanted a bold color scheme for their apt., so they hired a color expert and now they love the colors and feel like they’re actually neutral. The living room is painted in the color “Polar Blue.”
Erik made the dining table from two floorboards. The wall is painted in the color “Topaze.” The TV on the wall (with a picture of an iceberg) is “Frame” from Samsung.
The color in the kitchen is unusual. Sometimes the room is brown, sometimes it is orange, only to appear yellow a few hours later.
This table is specially made and can be extended with four extension leaves.
The deep green TV room is like a small snug cave.
The bedroom is painted in the color “Lichen 19” from Farrow & Ball and is accented with pinks.
Pink continues from the bedroom to the bath, but is mixed with modern black, white, & gray.
