imho i don’t get why people think that bone stealing person is funny tho?? like.  regardless of what you believe those aren’t your damn bones.  it’s the family’s comfort that is the biggest issue here, like come on.

there’s that saying for funerals: funerals aren’t for the dead.  they’re for the living to grieve and be comforted.  likewise, the graves are not for the dead; they’re a place to store them, yes, but the stones are there for the living to visit and use to heal and move on.  

please explain to me why stealing away the comfort afforded to the survivors is funny.  ESPECIALLY considering that this graveyard was made for those that are unfortunately too poor to afford above-ground burial, like what is usually done in Louisiana.

Proof of Time Travel

Could time travel exist? Some people believe so. Look at these images and see what you think.

1. The Chinese Swiss Watch. Back in 2008, a 400 year old tomb was opened. Archaeologists were shocked to discover this small watch among the artifacts. The back of the watch is engraved with the word “Swiss”. They have no explanation of how this modern watch came to be in an unopened 400 year old tomb.

2. Charlie Chaplin Cell Phone. Viewers watching the extras section of the 1928 Charlie Chaplin film “The Circus” noted this person seemed to be talking on a cell phone. Others have claimed it was an ear trumpet, a horned device used to help those who were hard of hearing to hear. If that’s true, skeptics argue, who would she be talking to? Why is she laughing and talking if no one is there to hear but herself?

3. 1940s Hipster. This picture was taken at a small opening event in 1941.Time travel enthusiasts were quick to point out how this man stood out. He appears to be wearing a hooded sweatshirt and printed t-shirt, and holding a modern camera.

4. Rudolph Fentz. Rudolph apparently vanished without a trace in 1876. That alone wouldn’t be enough to constitute time travel, except that he turned up again…in the 1950s. Fentz allegedly materialized in a New York street, where he was struck by a car and died. Police were baffled as to what happened, especially when they found his pockets to only hold currency from the 1800s.

5. The Man in the Book. A couple was perusing an old book store when they happened across a book with this photograph included. It shows a group from 1917, but this man sticks out. His hair is disheveled and his clothing doesn’t fit in with the time period. Also note how the man beside him his staring at him, as though he too is aware of the strangeness.

as much as i want to buy into time travel, a lot of these are really obviously disprovable. 

the watch: people have broken into, stolen from, and resealed tombs all the time. it doesn’t prove time travel, it proves theft.

the hipster: the camera is actually ‘30s tech, the shirt looks kind of like argyle.

fentz: homeless people in the 1950s could definitely have exclusively old currency and plausibly be insane, jumping up from the sidewalk/out from an alley into traffic. cars back then didn’t have nearly as many mirrors or ways to see the driver’s surroundings. 

book man: he’s blocking the person behind him, so it’s probably some slacker kid photobombing, hence why the people to his sides are giving him dirty looks. his clothes are almost identical to the man on his right, our left. they’re not out of place at all.

as for the cell phone: it’s too grainy to actually see anything. my initial thought is it’s a movie set, that’s an extra, and they were given a prop to interact with to fill space.

So many people dont understand what this picture means. We need to raise awareness about what is happening with the refugees and how much all of this compares to what happened with the jews. We need to know the history in order to stop it from happening. Please read about hitler and then read about donald trump and look at all the similarities. Please look at so many huge political influences in the world’s views then look at history of Hitler and what all happened leading up to the wars and genocide. Please. There are several Republican candidates who’ve proposed concentration camps for “Muslims.” I put this word in quotes because what they actually mean is “people of Middle Eastern descent or origin,” which includes not only Muslims but Jewish people, Christians, spiritualists, Sikhs, Zoroastrians, and I assume also agnostics and atheists along with other groups I probably am not thinking of right now. There has been no mention whatsoever of white Muslims, American-born non-Arab Muslims, etc.–it’s always framed in the language of “those people, from that other place, who are Not Like Us,” and includes absolutely no reason why these camps/ID badges are necessary or helpful outside of how now we would have another way to isolate and hate those Scary Brown People.

If you want to be fucking petrified, read Mein Kampf (if you can stomach it) and then go take a listen to half a dozen speeches from the GOP circa 2015 (if you can stomach that too). The intended victims are different–or at least, right now they are, I don’t doubt for a minute that Jewish genocide would get on just fine with the GOP–but the modus operandi is exactly the same.
