Hamnøy by Antonio Prado
"I had this photograph in mind before travelling to Norway, so I planned how to capture this scene well in advance. It was taken at the fishing village of Hamnøy, at Moskenesøy Island in Lofoten."

Reasons To Be Admitted To A Mental Asylum In The 1800s
Source: Imgur
Perhaps a reflection on patriarchal and puritanical norms endemic within 19th century culture, it’s pretty easy to see from this list that a woman’s ‘sanity’ was greatly tied to her relationship status. If you exhibit any of these mental health “indicators”, be thankful that you live at a time when views on mental health are actually evolving.

I am a digital photographer using primarily a Nikon d5000 SLR, occasionally an iPhone 5. My photos mostly consist of travel or landscape photography. I can’t say I follow any specific theme in my work, but in my photos I think a lot about how an image draws the eye. Photos that provoke eye movement across the image are the ones I typically find most dynamic.
