Iām doing Nanowrimo this year! Well, sorta lmao. Am I writing 50K words of a singular, newly written, non-fanfiction WIP? Definitely not.
I am however working on multiple WIPs day to day, some fanfic and some not, one already being started (three chapters in āØ), and simply hoping for the best that I can get in a decent amount of words.

I love Hero/Villain type stuff so much, but writing it stresses me out, so I might struggle with this

Anyway, Iāve started planning this one out a bit but havenāt started writing
Itās more of a series of short stories, but those short stories might still be longer than the typical short story cuz I suck at keeping things short
Itās kind of a combination of things. Turning classic stories on their heads. Rapunzel, Little Mermaid, Snow White, etc etc.
I donāt have a particular idea for this, Iām just having fun here
I might add more as I work on different things through the month! Iāll probably keep this as only things I consistently work on, not counting things I very occasionally update.
Iāll also reblog this whenever I wanna give an update on my progress. Is that gonna be once a day (on days I write)? Possibly. Is it gonna be once every one or two weeks? Also possibly! Hopefully Iāll update more often rather than less often lmao, weāll see.

A cool thing about writing is that the better you get at it, the more you're aware of what you want out of it, which means it gets harder, which means you actually feel like you're getting worse.
I literally donāt get people who complain that other people are just projecting onto characters like āyouāre just using that character to explore and actualise yourselfā well done james thatās what stories have been for for centuries what the fuck is your point
sometimes after you learn what your story is about, you resolve to write a thematically appropriate sequel. this, unfortunately, means you have another section to edit, and now your story means two things. maybe more. imagine.
Do you ever start writing something that youāre excited about and that seems like itās turning out well and that youāre getting eager to share, and then you start typing it up or doing an edit pass and itās just awful itās awful its premise is fundamentally flawed and itās out of character and the prose is clunky and the plot is badly paced and ludicrous and the whole thing is embarrassing, how could you have done this, how could you have sunk so much time into this, you canāt even look at it, how is this that shining thing you were so excited about, how could you even have considered finishing it let alone sharing it with anyone, youāre crying, your mother is crying, nuns are spontaneously exploding in the streets,
