I made a nice porcelain vase and the bottom cracked. It’s now a lamp shade and I’m working on the rest of the pieces!

Pinch pot pumpkin. I’m going to teach a handbuilding lesson and wanted to see if I could still make them. Yes. Yes I can.

A bit of carving on black porcelain. Porcelain slumps so much that I think I’m just going to have to get used to the idea of carving it out to get a nice, thin form.

I made the original with polymer clay and it cracked all over. I’m hoping to have better luck with the porcelain paper clay.

I made this months ago. It’s been sitting on a shelf. I went to wash it off to put some Desert Roses in and the damn thing was still raw! 😅 Almost went down the drain! Sgraffito, fire, and now will happily hold my little succulents.

IT LIVED! The behemoth is out of bisque! The client loves it, paid in full (plus tip!) and has picked colors. I pray all commissions go this well (and I know they won’t).

Remember when stamps and envelopes had to be licked? My mom had a little sponge in a little bowl to wet her fingers and I thought it was brilliant. After breaking this while working on it, I thought back to that and am kinda sad now that all the stamps and envelopes in this world are stickers.
