Suzuki Nine Queens
I got the awesome opportunity whilst out here in Austria training with Why Aint you Jibbin to go and watch the Suzuki Nine Queens Final at Serfaus , Austria. Thea and i were so excitedÂ
We drove for about an hour and a half and went up very windy hairpin bendy roads...the drive and the scenery were amazing.Â
We arrived in Serfaus at 10:30 and headed straight for the hill. The weather was unbelievable, pure blue skies no clouds and lovely and sunny. As we were travelling up in the gondola we could hear the commentator and then we saw it,,,,,, the castle made of snow .....WOW !
We had a good shred over to where the competition was being held and when we got there we were invited in to the rider enclosure to spend the day with all the riders.Â
Thea had put an edit together to enter as a Queen and was really unlucky not to be picked !
We spent the day getting to chat with all the riders, Katie Summerhayes introduced us to anyone we wanted to speak to, she was ace and I got to chat with Anna Gasser, Redbull Pro athlete and Hayley Langland, X Games competitor who at only 15 is an amazing rider!
It was great to be there to see how the top riders do their thing and how they handle the competition environment as well as getting to watch Anna Gasser to a cab double under flip ...... IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE !Â
It was a totally sick day I was so lucky to get to be around such awesome riders both on skis and boards and hope to be back soon .... #perceivebelieveachieveÂ
Great pow days this week! (at Hochzillertal)
World Rookie Tour
On Friday the 4th March I took part in my first ever World Rookie Tour event in Trentino, Italy.
It was an amazing day and it was fantastic to take part in such a professionally organised real comp !! Red Bull were involved too, it was really cool and gave me an amazing insight to how big competitions work.Â
It was great the weather was good , a little bit of wind but a nice day.
I got to do 3 runs and I was really stoked when I stomped them all clean , I was really proud of what I put down. I rode well and it was great to ride against some brilliant talented girls from Europe - well done guys.Â
I finishes 5th from 6 in the Under 15's and was please with my position, I had no expectations going in to the comp and wasting part for the experience as much as anything else. I had great fun and a great day with all the boys from Why Aint You Jibbin.
Back to Austria now for more shredding and to get a few more tricks under my hat.
Here are some photos of the day.
Had such a great time at my first @worldrookietour #worldrookietour so much fun.. Stomped my runs clean all 3of them... Finished 5th in under 15's. Had no expectations.. It was great to take part in a REAL COMP... A..maz....ING!!! #montebondonesnowpark #völklworldrookiefinals #riderfactoryclothing (at Monte Bondone)
Zillertal Valley Rally - Vans Penken Park Mayrhofen
On Sunday I went with the rest of the Jibbers to Mayrhofen for the Vans Penken Park for the 3rd stop of the Zillertal Valley Rally.
The park was great and challenging. I was looking forward to taking part it was going to be fun riding with all the crew and the experience would be awesome.
I did my first run, landed it all clean and loved hitting the kickers. It was great fun, I was shaking it was that exciting !
My second run was good but not as clean on the first kicker but I tried my best and still had a really fun time.
I had no expectations for the day but was stoke to get 3rd place in the Under 13's. I won a really cool Vans T shirt and a beanie and a cool medal. It was a great day, didn't get many photos but here are the ones I got. Thanks to Gustav Ohlsson for your awesome photos ! Â
Junior Jam 2016
Last Saturday I went with the Why Aint you Jibbin team to Westendorf, Austria for my first ever European Competition.
I was really excited but nervous too !
We arrived and registered and had some practice runs. We decided what runs I was going to do and I waited for my turn.
The other girls all seemed older than me but I got on on with my runs and really enjoyed them.Â
The rest of the team rode awesome and we all had a great day.
It was soon prize giving time and I really did not know how I had done.Â
I was SUPER STOKED when they shouted my name in 2nd Place - I didn't realise at the time that it was in the UNDER 16 category !! I thought I was in the under 13's.Â
It was a great day, sunny and I had great fun.Â
Here are some photos and links to the event.
Thanks to all my sponsors for their support and to the awesome WAYJ team for being amazing coaches !!

WISH FM NEWS
Today I had a radio interview with the fab Wish FM 102.4.
They were covering the story of the local council awarding funding for the first time ever and asked me if I would be interviewed for the 90 second news.Â
I feel privileged to be lucky enough to get to do a sport I love and be supported by my local council and sports development unit - the guys at WLCT are AMAZING... thanks to WISH FM for having me.
I was so stoked to be asked and to spread the snowboarding love. Check out the news here ...
AUSTRIA PART 1 !
I have just got back from 3 weeks in Austria with #whyaintyoujibbin and had a brilliant time.
There was not much snow at first and it was a bit icy but I still had great fun hitting the kickers and pulling out some awesome tricks!
Then the snow came ! There was loads of it and I got to ride lots of POW... it was great fun - i got stuck one day up to my waist it was that deep, i got out eventually but it was hard work!
I loved riding my new Salomon Gypsy it is AMAZING and the combination of that and my FLUX TT bindings equalled great fun and lots of speed.Â
We got to swimming in an outdoor pool and the video pizza nights were brilliant. The house is so cool its huge you could get lost in it and it was great to share a room with some of my mates.
Didn't get many photos out on the slope as my mum and dad were not there and I was too busy doing loads of really cool stuff but there will be plenty when I go back out in February.Â
I can't wait to go back out, got loads of stuff that I want to do when I'm out and can't wait to get back on the mountains. In the meantime its back to school and PT training at home.Â
Keep your eyes peeled for my updates in Austria Part 2 - you won't be disappointed.
Here are some fun pictures I did manage to get whilst I was away... enjoy :)
