I guess if I'm going to upload some old Supercorp hits, I may as well play all the hits.

Not people on twitter calling Laxmi homophobic.
Literally nothing indicates she's a homophobe. She's just pissed at Carol because Carol's anger got her grandfather killed. And yes, as Otongbayar pointed out, Carol didn't know yelling at the hive would trigger that, but almost no one in the apocalypse is acting 'rationally.'
Both Laxmi and Carol are grieving but you will only give one of them grace. Hmm. I wonder why.
I agree with you, but Laxmiās grandfather did not die in the accident. Your point still stands tho. Added that Carol keeps pointing out that Laxmiās kid is not actually her kid but everyone on earth, which Laxmi is in denial of. They just donāt like each other. She has not shown any homophobia (at least as of yet)
not them acting like an actual married couple lol
The eating only half a donut and not liking things with things in it is so Carol-coded of Rhea
And Zosia would eat whatever Carol wonāt have
they had her ass SUFFERING
Carol Sturka is likable.
Everyone who disagrees with me is actually fundamentally wrong in their approach to life and probably smells like sweaty cheese.
I will be brooking no disagreement. I am objectively correct. Here is my mathematically sufficient proof.

Yāall can argue all you want about JJ being straight or not and I respect it. I do. But Emily at JJ and Willās wedding in the season 7 finale was the most yearningest yearner to ever yearn and I will kill whomsoever approaches me on that hill. Like, they show Emily FIVE SEPARATE TIMES pacing the outside of the reception, looking (IMHO) at JJ dancing with Will. LOOK. AT. HER.
And the song?? āNothing is ever as it seemsā as one of the repeating lyrics?? While Emily is shown dancing with everyone after she gives up staring and decides to pretend to have fun even though she so clearly feels alone??? Girl. This bitch gay as hell for JJ and as far as Iām concerned, itās canon. Pry it at your own risk.
Anyway thanks for coming to my TED talk

UMMM??
sorry for throwing a brick at you but i the more i think about Helen the more i miss her šš i mean she was the person who wanted to make Carol happy because it was her choice, not her program
1.04: "Please, Carol".
I will always hate this exchange! Itās so fucked and the hive has the guts to present it as if itās stuck a valid, reasonable point (which, incredibly, some viewers bought)
random long rant post, but i keep seeing people online (usually cishet men) say that manousos should've been the mc / only character in pluribus, usually because he seems more "proactive" to them, or simply slander carol for not doing "enough", and i think saying this is not only highkey misogynistic but also deeply undermines the point of pluribus.
pluribus isnt a traditional post-apocalyptic story; sure, it inherently follows the typical plotlines these types of movies/shows/books have, where X character tries to save humanity, but what makes pluribus stand out amongst other post-apocalyptic media is that the apocalypse it depicts is so non-violent and therefore deeply intertwined with human nature as opposed to our temporal range. the thing about the virus that makes it so scary is the fact that it does not need bloodshed to wipe out all of human history, personal or otherwise, but rather a quiet and systematic dissemination that makes it seem like this history never existed to begin with; it's the mass extermination of self and by extension humans ability to establish relationships.
because of this, human connection in the plurbverse is a highly scarce and sought-after resource, not just for the use of cooperation to discover potential cures, but as a bare necessity to remain sane and, most ardently, human. all this to say, one of the main points of pluribus is that people need people, and to pit the only two characters that genuinely want to save the world (that we've seen so far) against each other and say that one over the other should be centered because of the assumption that he can be of more use is the direct antithesis to one of the shows most in-your-face messages.
carol could not have succeeded alone, and neither could manousos. that's the beauty of this story! the fact that these two incredibly stubborn and conventionally "negative" seeming characters must depend on each other to even attempt to save the world literally screams the importance of connection at us! if the damn show itself is saying "look at how miserable and terrifying the world is without human ingenuity and the ability to relate is", why would you ever try and single out these characters when you could be relishing in their life-saving and deeply necessary camaraderie and the inherent beauty that comes with it?
