A lot of you can't handle posts beyond "I'm a soft ouppy dog". You can't handle being told zoophiles should seek help, you can't handle being told echo chambers are a bad thing, you can't handle criticism, you can't handle when someone calls out racism, you can't handle people having opinions, you can't handle when someone's transition goals go beyond a tail and a haircut, you can't handle when someone's experiences with alterhumanity are different from yours, you can't handle fictionfolk, you can't handle adults talking about adult topics. "But I have ocd !!" "But I have rsd !!" "But I have autism !!" "But I'm a biological alterhuman !!" "But I'm this and I have this and that makes you this !!" Holy shit SHUT UP. Your issues are not an excuse and not someone elses fucking responsibility.
1. It's not fucking classist, or ableist, or whatever -ist you want to throw around when someone tells zoophiles to get help. When people are telling you to get help they're not telling you to get therapy or go to a mental institution, they're telling you to talk to family, friends, online support groups, social media, anything outside of your little echo chamber of people who are just like you saying "Making your paraphilia your identity is actually a good thing and anyone who disagrees is wxyz !!" Stop fucking bringing people with ocd into your argument, having ocd doesn't make you a paraphile. People with ocd can have paraphilic intrusive thoughts but that does not make them a paraphile. Intrusive thoughts are unwanted thoughts that can cause the person to become distressed. Someone with zoophilic intrusive thoughts because of their ocd isn't putting "I'm a zoophile" in their bio because people with ocd aren't zoophiles and they wouldn't want to be seen as a zoophile. It's not ableist to encourage people to treat or manage their disorders, it's not ableist to want people to get better. Enough with your 'beastiality' vs 'zoophilia' you know exactly what people are saying, if your only argument is semantics you have nothing to stand on. Thoughts are not actions, thoughts are not a crime, but you can't go around making this shit your entire personality and putting it in your bios and talking with other people who also come up with every excuse under the sun not to get help and seriously think that is doing anything in your favor.
2. The alterhuman community does have a massive issue with racism but for some reason a lot of you refuse to admit it. The police dog therian discussion being the biggest example. Instead of actually listening to people, some of you decided it was a good idea to argue against the people calling you out on your bullshit. You will always be your race before you are seen as alterhuman. If you are white you have white privilege, it is not your fucking place to argue why it's actually ok to turn police dogs into an aesthetic and make being a police dog your entire identity. You do not get to chose to identify outside of race because your race affects every single part of your life whether you like it or not. You are living in a human society, accept that and shut your mouth before saying something stupid or bigoted.
3. People posting their opinions and criticisms about the alterhuman community is not an attack on you. People making posts saying how they don't like the abundance of canine posts and how the alterhuman community has an issue with canine-centrisism is not an attck on you. It is an opinion, people are going to post their critiques and opinions online, especially when it is about the community they are a part of. Nobody is telling anybody to do anything, nobody is making you post for others or even telling you do such a thing, nobody is invalidating you just because you're a common theriotype. Those of you who are complaining about those posts are part of the problem, instead of listening and having a discussion on why someone would feel this way you instead choose to get defensive and tell us that we're wrong for feeling this way. Not everything is about you, not everything is about me either, but that doesn't mean we aren't allowed to talk about how we feel like we're outsiders in our own community that claims to be diverse and inclusive. "Be the change you want to see !!" Can only go so far, you act as if we don't post about our experiences when we do, you just don't see them because canine posts get more traction. We're not dumb we know why, the majority of people are canines so therefore of course there's going to be more canine posts and those are the posts that are going to get the most attention. That's not a problem !! But that is why we feel so alone, when you're surrounded by others just like you of course you're not going to see the same problems and feel the same way others do, that does not give you the right to tell us we're wrong for feeling this way.
4. You preach inclusivity but the second someone comes out and says they don't like using labels, are fictionkin, otherhearted, or otherlinked, aren't spiritual, transpecies with 'taboo' transition goals such as packers, you turn around and invalidate them. You treat their identities as lesser, you call people delusional, you call people who want to use packers 'zoophiles'. You refuse to actually talk to anyone and understand them.
5. You say there's no age limit to being alterhuman, which is true, but when someone brings up adult topics you have to bring up "what about minors !!" "But I'm a minor !!" Not. Everything. Is. About. You. If there is a post that has nothing to do with you just scroll. It's common sense that the post about an adult topic that never mentions children obviously isn't fucking about children.
I know most of you won't even read this because most of you can't even handle reading a post beyond the first 2 sentences. If you have stuck around and read the whole thing then thank you, I hope I was able to get through to someone ♡☆♡☆♡
