I’ve had a dumb idea, how would slammer react to a large scale rts like hoi4 (where you play as an entire country throughout the world war period) how would it react to games without any actual characters as well like Tetris and how would it effect something like rule the waves 3 or the unity game dev engine? Would the slammer virus ever play with a user for entertainment or a challenge? Does the slammer virus keep any deals it makes with other viruses/.exes?

1: Joke answer
Slammer: where the fuck am I? (standing in the middle of a battle field just so damn confused)
Actual answer: I think Slammer would treat a game like that similar to how plague Ink works, though honestly it's more likely the virus would just consume the games code to the point it becomes unplayable/unable to be opened.

2: Honestly it would just leave games like that alone, there's not really any fun to be had in games like that for Slammer, the virus has bit of a sadistic side to it, and it likes putting others thru pain.
Would the slammer virus ever play with a user for entertainment or a challenge?
3: Basically would Slammer act like the original Sonic.exe in anyway? I like to think yes if they got powerful enough Slammer Prime, would likely start to mess with actual people and make a player witness everything it does to a game.
Slammer would also leave cryptic messages throughout the user's computer and alter their computer's files, though it has no way to actually harm them, the virus would at some point be powerful enough to make it seem like it could. By controlling any and all electronics inside someones home.
Sometimes it all ain't about killing, it's about striking fear and making humans/players think you can kill them at any time, breaking down someone's mind to the point of insanity is much more fun for Slammer.
Does the slammer virus keep any deals it makes with other viruses/.exes?
4: Officially Slammer has not met any virus or exe's, but if they did well they would likely yes keep the deal they make Slammer might be sadistic, but they also remain loyal even if Slammer became powerful enough to kill them. The only time Slammer would betray someone is if they tried to first.
Slammer isn't above assimilating other virus/exe's though and I know for a fact, Slammer has at least assimilated another virus known as MyDoom, Slammer uses that viruses ability's to travel thru emails it was able to assimilate it easier since that was another worm virus.
But say Slammer did assimilate another exe? Yes they'd keep some of the exe's traits at least in their Prime version, so the more exe's the more Slammer primes Sonic form would be altered slightly.
Mod Monnie: Bonus Answer for a question you didn't ask but it's important!
I've stated in the past but Slammer uses they/them, it/it's pronouns HOWEVER if it has a host from a game aka Slammer Prime and Sonic? it will take it's hosts pronouns as well.
So Slammer Prime (Slammer Sonic) would be They/Them, It/It's and He/Him.

I’d like to thank @davidthephoneguy for this amazing commission the third comic in the slammer sonic series!
Our good doctor know’s something has happened to sonic so decided to barricade himself inside the death egg… Unluckily for him however the Virus ridden hedgehog has other ways of getting to him and it all worked out for IT in the end.
2 parts of the main story remain no idea when thoes will happen but stay tuned!
Could Sonic still be in there?… If he is he’s suffering his little buddy gone and now Knuckles?
How much worse can things get for him as this virus expands and creates more nests inside his friends and the Flickies.
No control over his body injury’s from Knuckles only provide him a small fraction of time to give out a warning but it seemed thoes warnings failed.

it’s the spooky season so I’d like to present you the first offical comic in the Slammer Sonic Series!
Tails meets up with Sonic in green hill zone and notices he’s a lil sick looking, but Sonic tells Tails he’s fine, of course. Tails is still worried, but agrees to let it go.
Sonic then offers to play a game of hide and seek with him like they used to and they have a friendly game of it but over the course of the game, Tails notices Sonic’s body slowly getting in worse and worse shape.
Sonic of course, keeps telling him he’s fine and just to keep playing a little more, but at some point Sonic just drops to his knees; he looks tired and makes weird groaning noises.
Tails comes out of his hiding spot and runs up to him, holding him closely, crying a little telling him the games over and he’s gonna help get sonic get medical help.
Then Slammer finally reveals himself and all Sonic could say in a whispering voice is “I am sorry, lil bro” before Slammer claims his first victim.

Full Power Mode Slammer Sonic …
20 foot long a massive worm compiled from every single living Mobian and Flicky along with all the badniks of the Sonic Universe
This is what Slammer Sonic would look like assuming they managed to adsorb enough mass by turning living people into hives to create more worms.
Think of an insect hive one queen burrow’s inside and starts producing larva the worms will keep the host alive for as long as possible just to create as many worms as possible untill nothing is left but the bones.
The Slammer Virus Worms are able to be spread thru machines and organics being an amalgamation of both however when they form a hive inside a living host.
The worms also have a secondary use of some hive’s sometimes they will control the body long enough to find a large group of Mobian/Animals and explode so they could spread to as many people as possible it might kill the original hive but one for the price of several is worth the risk if it means total organic control.
All it takes is a single worm inside someone to create a hive … only they are stripped of their sentience unlike Sonic who’s forced to experience everything.
If Slammer Sonic ever gets their full power mode they will be able to escape the copy of Sonic the hedgehog CD they are stuck inside and create copies of the (The SQL Slammer Worm) however instead of the real life counterpart of the virus they might hijack more sonic games and continue to spread thru that because how fun it is to them.
TLDR: a giant worm made from stolen flesh and metal from several machines and people

Here it is! Slammer Sonics Disguise Form!
with a bonus image of the three stages ((Pre Infection Sonic, Disguise Form and Slammer’s true form))
Slammer has full control over Sonic’s Body but can’t fully change his new modifications back into the regular sonic so he did his best he uses his disguise form to it’s full advantage
Sonic looks much weaker and is constantly itching because of the worms crawling under his skin his quills/fur is discolored and you can defiantly tell based on his eyes and how skinny he is something is incredibly wrong
Since Slammer is weaker/slower then most exes he sort of uses the pity card against people so he can turn them into hives to gain more mass and worms
Been on an EXE kick recently and got in contact with my friend @bugtoast we preformed a trade! i got them dialtown and their making some slammer stuff with me! we both figured out the design together!
I am working with both bug and my friend charlie ((aka lazy-charlie)) on more Slammer Sonic content and I am very excited for all of you to see it!

Slammer Sonic is heavily inspired by a virus from 2003 named the slammer virus
(The SQL slammer worm is a computer virus (technically, a computer worm) that caused a denial of service on some Internet hosts and dramatically slowed down general Internet traffic, starting at 05:30 UTC on January 25, 2003. It spread rapidly, infecting most of its 75,000 victims within 10 minutes.)
originally it was just a worm that injected itself into a copy of sonic the game
it crawled into his food and began to slowly take over his body he’s still alive in there… able to see everything
Slammer is much slower then most other exe’s but makes up for it with his limited control of machines though he is forced to choose what he controls his own body or a small swarm of worms that live inside his head that he throw’s up and controls separately
he can’t do multi tasking well being a virus from 2003 so while he controls the worms his stolen body goes into a power down mode which makes him look like the regular sonic however if you lifted up his eye lids you’d see the window’s blue screen
so he’s sort of like a mixture of the original computer virus and an actual worm thats his true form just a small single worm that grow’s and multiplies.
instead of directly killing his victim’s he’d likely trick them and then use their bodies to create a hive of worms that makes his powers grow stronger over time able to influence machines more as more worms are made aka one single hive mind.
unlike sonic though IT doesn’t care if his victim’s eventually die it keeps sonic alive as a permeant host because it enjoys making him suffer.
the only true way to see that sonic is still in there is attacking his body it will give him just a minute to regain control and tell them to run.
