RIP Anthony Stewart Head (1954 - 2026)
British actor starred on the West End before finding international fame in the 90s on Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Noooooo :-( :-( :-(
I still think it's a shame that they didn't make Vinny Paddys son. It would have been perfect.
Robert has been out of prison for over a year now - and still hasn't seen his son or has had any contact with him (as far as we know).
They'll bring Seb back eventually. And I really hope they'll address a father not making his son his first priority after leaving prison. This could lead to major trauma for Seb - and a big hurdle for Robert to overcome.
Could be curious (IF Emmerdale actually talked about it....)
Today it's been five months since Robron kissed on screen. Or hugged. Or touched in any possible couply way.
(I don't mind too much, I prefer them as a boring couple than not at all, but still - a little kiss? That's not too much to ask, is it?)
2026 - the year I truly learned that I'm not only unlovable (that one I already knew), but also not really likable - and that I'm merely second best. Rather leftovers most of the time, easy to chuck away.
What if he changes again - and will and up the dangerous criminal as which he was introduced?
[Insert please don't give hope gif]🥹🥹.
Once was hard enough, can't do it again with their mahes no sense stupid storylines just because they like the actor so much.
Yes, I'm afraid it won't go that way (stupid storyline remain stupid:-/), but I'd really love a twist like that. Give us what you promised in the beginning.
Robron really are the new Coira: a farmer and a mechanic/head of the Dingle clan living on the farm, trying to make ends meet.
Oh, and raising their million kids (Seb, new baby...and surely there'll be some strays to take in...)
I love it.
When Kev first joined, he was described as a ruthless armed robber with a short fuse. And he turned into a comedy character, an embarrassing bunny burner type of guy.
Now he is being introduced as a comedy character. Harmless, just wanting to bake cakes.
What if he changes again - and will and up the dangerous criminal as which he was introduced?
It could start of harmless (having his cake business, connecting with Lewis) and then he'll end up being responsible for Jimmy's and Vinnys deaths? Their both connected to Lewis (Jimmy through Nicola), so it's not entirely illogical. Dawn could be collateral damage.
And Kev could die in the end as well, which could pave the way to Robrons next wedding.
It's not entirely implausible, is it?
I'm hoping against hope that Jimmy leaving is the sae red herring as Mack leaving. Didn't they confirm as well that it was vertain and everything?
I don't want to loose Jimmy. He's like a cuddly uncle among the chaos.
JUSTICE FOR JIMMY KING!!!!
Is it true? Jimmy? They can't do that. There are so many other characters to get rid of first (Let the Rodney actor retire ffs, he's approaching 90). But Jimmy? No, he's such a great comedic relief - and him and Nicola really are an amazing pairing.
Please let this rumour be just that....a rumour :-( :-(
Everybody is talking about a longlost child for Robert - whereas I am here, waiting for that longlost child for Aaron, that he fathered at 18 during the days after beating up Paddy, before he returned, claiming it was "all sorted" (and never cleared up what that meant).
It is weird that they show so little intimicy between Aaron and Robert nowadays. They did until Corriedale.
I wonder if it is a stroy decision (because Aaron isn't happy with Roberts decisions or because they try to set them up as a longterm day-to-day couple like Nicola/Jimmy or Sam/Lydia)
Is it because of the budget (maybe no inimicy coordinator - if they use one - then again, other couple kiss/hug too - occasionally)
Or is it because of Danny and/or Ryan. Danny did say that his oldest son is old enough to understand his job it is weird for him to see is dad kissing other people. Ryans oldest son is a similar age - so maybe they have reservations?
Either way: LET ROBRON HUG. AND KISS. Or SHOW ANY CLOSENESS AT ALL!!
Both Danny and Ryan look fantastic right now. I wonder what prompted Danny to get into shap. I hope it wasn't any haters or health issues.
Anyway: I just love looking at them.
(Sorry, having a superficial moment here...)
It's so weird to think that Sarah is actually raising her own aunt as her daughter.
The Dingle-family tree is so messed up...
That Robron scene on Friday was quite cute. Finally acknowledging the relation between Sarah and Robert.
I feel like they want to remind the audience of that and maybe prepare them for a shift towards them once the whole baby-drama blows up #makeSarahSugdenagain
Also it shows how urgently Robert and Aaron need to
a) get Seb back b) have a child of their own and c) have that child be a daughter
