Hi! I'm C (@shewolf-sinclair) and I use she/her pronouns! I am 19! I am the only person running this account. I made this account because I've been hyper-fixated on the show since it came out, and when info on S2 first dropped I realized I needed a place just to talk about the show.
I made this acc to compile facts about the show and a forum to discuss theories and thoughts. please don’t disregard the whole blog because i posted a meme or ship or analysis you disagree with. ofc you’re not obligated to follow or anything do what you want. just know that this account primarily functions as a base of operations for information about the show for the fans. because I’m hyper-fixated and follow it so closely and I want y'all to get it without having to stalk pages like I do. but I’m also gonna post stan stuff because it’s what I like to do.
please note that I try to be objective as possible and simply present the facts on this page, but I occasionally post my own theories and opinions on the show (including ships) if you disagree with it that’s fine
TLDR; the main intent w this account is information
and lastly if you have facts/sources/info etc you want discussed send it as an ask I will respond to as many as humanly possible

Season 3 information thus far:
post 1 (pre trailer) (cast announcement an production announcement)
I was up till like three in the morning last night thinking about this and I can’t let it go.
Don’t get me wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed Wednesday season two, but it had a lot of problems and it didn’t feel like the same show as season one. To summarize/TLDR; it tried to do too much too fast in one go and missed a bunch of important details. buckle in folks this is a long bitchy rant.
I think s2 tried to expand the world too much too fast to the point that it just felt clunky and honestly had continuity errors with the world that was introduced in season one. I’m well aware that some of this has to do with the fact that season one was filmed in Romania on location and season two was shot in Dublin, Ireland, and tmk mostly on a sound stage. That being said, I think they could’ve put in more effort to replicate certain scenery instead of just building something entirely new and hoping nobody would notice. The in-universe explanation is that after the fire from crack Stone they had to rebuild a large chunk of the school, which I understand—but the vastness of the difference just makes this explanation seem lazy. (This is referring to the fact that the quad looks totally different in season one and in season two, but that’s not my only complaint. (we also miss out on seeing most of the exterior we’ve come to know like the lake and crypt and instead are given rosewood cottage and the field for the bonfire almost as a replacement and/or distraction, which now begs the new question how big is nevermore?)) Season one spent so much focus on the downtown area of Jericho and in season two we basically never see it. Now I understand the main reason for Wednesdays constant trips to the weathervane in season one were to visit Tyler and in season two she doesn’t have that need. however, in season one, they also explained that downtown Jericho is kind of like the weekend spot for more students and they stress this need of integrating the culture of nevermore students into the town no obviously after the events of season one in our cast are again very separated, but even so I think it would’ve been nice to see some of the town they put so much work into building the world of. We only really see it briefly for Donovan‘s funeral. The other part of world expansion that bothered me is season one set up Jericho to be this small town kind of remote with It’s only really big pieces being the fact that it has nevermore and it has pilgrim world** which is a large tourist attraction site. season two sets to expand this a little bit. It introduces Willow Hill and a hotel/motel. No one one hand a child popped outcast activity having an asylum specifically for outcasts nearby makes sense but on the other hand that seems like such a big deal to have in such a small town. Especially one which is built to house such huge threats. At first, the hotel seemed pretty small and underpopulated which fit the vibe of small remote town but in its later scenes with uncle Fester, it seems absolutely full of people expect the question what are so many people doing in Jericho, Vermont? It’s possible to be explained by the fact that Jericho is surrounded by woods and as seen in some less popularly remembered scenes in seasons one and two it’s a camping hotspot. this explanation is backed by the camp that all of nevermore visits in season two, but at the same time, all three of these additions just make Jericho seem so much larger than it was introduced in season one and it no longer gives the same narrative aesthetic. say that i’m nitpicky thats fine it’s just something that’s been bothering me.
my other large gripe with season two and it’s continuity to season one is the timeline. S1 seems to take place in the fall (typically a HS’ 1st semester in the US). I say this from looking at the foliage in any and all outdoor scenes, as well as events such as the HARVEST festival and even the wardrobe choices. S1 ends with the semester ending early due to the destruction and distress and Xavier asking wednesday if she will be back next semester. not next year. next semester. yet s2 begins with the explanation that wednesday spent summer break refining her ability, new student move in, and beginning of the year ceremonies (and day of the dead which takes place in OCT.) And this makes no sense.
lastly, while I did Enjoy the plot and find it both intellectually challenging and entertaining. It does not feel like a proper follow up to season one. Season one HAS loose ends, Tyler transforming on the way to jail/prison and potentially breaking out, morning song as a serious threat and Biancas past and future at nevermore, wednesday’s stalker. 2/3 of these are touched on in s2 but it doesn’t feel satisfactory. Wednesday’s stalker is reduced to a short sideplot and ends up being a crazed fan instead of an actual threat and intriguing investigation. it comes to a conclusion too quickly and is no longer the big thrill s1’s end set it up to be. it feels like a colossal let down. that being said I do adore Agnes and love the addition of her to the cast and the direction they took her character. Morning song at least gets to last throughout the whole season with the prolonged discovery of Dort being behind everything but it again doesn’t feel like the big threat it was being set up as. we saw Bianca have a rocky relationship with her mother, using a different name and in s2 suddenly it’s all forgotten and her mother is blameless. This cult of sorts that seemed so threatening is nothing more than a money laundering scheme and we miss out on bianca’s past and explaining how she got to be who she is. i was really disappointed. and Tyler’s big final transformation is completely ignored. We just see him in Willow hill with no idea how he got there. and while I did as previously mentioned genuinely enjoy the plot I think each part could’ve been a separate season. I think a lot of my issue with it is the split in between part one and two did make it feel really disconnected because if you watch it all at once, it makes a bit more sense that it’s actually one plot. I think what really threw me off. Is the premonition about eating stuff because that didn’t seem to fit in by the end of the season. It was kind of just a way to get the ball rolling on the LOIS investigation, which led us to Tyler’s mom which led us to Tyler’s uncle, which led to the conclusion of the season and so while it’s easy to piece things together, it still feels a little discombobulated. to me anyway
BUTTTTT ig it all doesn’t matter anyway because s3 likely wont spend much time at nevermore anyway. oh well 🤷🏻♀️ i just miss my small town supernatural thriller aesthetic from s1
** (which itself expanded its existence in season 2 and to me felt like they were grasping at straws finding a way to use it so they could say they mentioned it/they mentioned locations from season 1 to get away with never showing the town. or they were just grapsping at straws finding a way to use the town of jericho at all which is also a problem with thw writing quality of s2. none of the other townies are every mentioned such as lucas who was beginning to receive a redemption and interesting arc in terms of relationships with nevermore as well as the fact that the mayoral seat (once his father’s) now sits empty. We meet the new sheriff but every other lose end is left untied. we never see what becomes of lucas’ friends or the town being cutoff from nevermore)
season 3 is currently doing some filming in paris! recent promo (and paparazzi) footage shows wednesday, thing, and fester, as well as mime? along the river in paris!!
there has also been news of filming downtown in dublin with the intent of the setting being manhattan!!
thinking about the way wednesday almost died saving francois, she stayed behind after fester left to help her, she told her to run when they saw the hyde and wednesday just stood there so that francois might have a fighting chance
only for francois to turn around and help tyler and issac try and kill wednesday AGAIN, only for her to help kidnap and try to kill pugsley
the way wednesday almost died to save those people in willow hill, only for everybody to blame her for the hyde escaping
nobody (but fester) saw what wednesday saw, nobody saw those people locked up in a basement being tested on
she was trying to save them, she was trying to do good
she was trying to save enid, she is risking everything to save enid
wednesday addams, who is terrified of being too dark and tortured to be loved or understood even by her own parents
and she is ready to lay her life down in order to do what is good and right
hey all!! i wanted to share this really interesting theory/breakdown of some symbolism from the format of the cast announcement i saw on tiktok!! it’s super interesting
alright!! what do we know about season three from the brief announcement from netflix today? I’ve done the deep dive so you don’t have to!!
The entirety of named addams family members returns with new addition, eva green as aunt ophelia
as well as enid, bianca, ajax, eugene, tyler, agnes, capri, and sheriff santiago
• the other new cast members!!
winona ryder (tabitha)
oscar morgan (atticus)
noah taylor (cyrus) (this is not the actor who played bruno (noah b. taylor), though they have the same name!!)
kennedy moyer (daisy)
chris sarandon (balthazar)
so far, none of these new characters’ roles in the season have been revealed, besides obviously, aunt ophelia. -> An interview for Netflix TUDUM states “We will be seeing more Addams family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3” (Millar) so there might be others in this list with a familial connection to our beloved heroine. -> Many members of this new cast have worked with Tim Burton previously, likely leading to their casting.
Filming will take place in/around Dublin, Ireland — just as it did for season 2.
“if tyler isnt evil whyd he go along w his mom and uncles plans?”
he didnt. not really.
lets recap rq: his mom dies when he’s young his dad cant cope and either drinks it away, works it away, or takes it out on him. in comes thornhill luring him in with information about his mom, grooming him, and basically MIND CONTROLLING him. cries for help and is ignored. he’s forced to hurt people. he doesn’t like it be he also likes the adrenaline rush and feeling of control (ironic isn’t it). he gets locked up. sucks but hes away from his dad and from thornhill. in comes wednesday, the dark twisted soul who liked him when he was just the angsty barista. he hopes she’ll understand. she ends up angry? indifferent? you pick w him instead. she doesn’t like slaughtering the innocent. he’s kinda pissed that she didn’t see the signs, the cries for help, that she didn’t understand it was literally out of his control. hoped she would understand the parts of it that were him seeing how dark and twisted SHE is. so they bicker. but they’re kinda flirting in a mean way. he gets out. his FIRST move? hide. he stays low just trying to survive. he breaks into the hospital gives wednesday dead flowers (iykyk) and a death threat. yeah its a lil fucked up so are both of them. and he has every right to be angry at her. wednesday with her vision gets super paranoid. lures him out. we have no way of knowing that he was looking for a fight he was just looking for wednesday. but hes met with agression, and like a caged animal, he snaps. then, he’s reunited with his NOT dead mother. he’s so happy to have her back. and he’s so confused. here she goes sticking him in this bunker he’s not allowed to leave, and while yes she’s mothering him its also kinda creepy. then in comes his undead uncle who has a fucked up relationship with his mom. they eventually plan to kill pugsley to get back at Gomez and morticia, and “cure” her hyde-ness that’s apparently making her sick.
at this point hes kinda just along for the ride. he’s in survival mode. he’s doing what they tell him because he doesn’t know what else to do he wants his family. hes angry and hes hurt. hell maybe he felt threatened if he didnt comply idk
but you saw his face when they buried wednesday. remorse. fear.
clocktower. he begs her to kill him. she spares him.
he fights (and eventually kills) his mom.
none of that to me says he’s evil. he’s morally grey, sure. he’s damaged, sure. So is wednesday 🤷🏻♀️
not to mention wednesday trying to become tyler’s new master to “fix” him????
obligatory s2 tyler post from yours truly, tylers no. 1 fan.
“tyler is still evil!”
or was he under a new master and yet again couldn’t choose anything else? the second he started to pack up and leave his mother’s master’s condition weakens and he jumps to save her. “he said he wanted to kill wednesday in that very scene” he’s still angry and hurt and if i’m honest, based on the scene in willow hill i wouldn’t be surprised if he’s flirting🤭 sorry i still love wyler mb guys
when wednesday was trying to be his new master he was totally not stopping her. we dont know that the letter at the hospital was really him, or that it wasn’t him just to get her attention because that’s what he does. (Him hiding behind the wall suggests there may be something more to it, as far as i’m concerned) we don’t know why he was at nevermore. i think he just wanted to FIND wednesday. he made her think he wanted to kill enid knowing how wednesday would respond as an excuse to get closer to her. thats my theory anyway.
he is still hurt and scared and being abused again and again.
hoping and praying is s3, with WHATEVER capri has up her sleeve that he is ok. i would love if her intentions are exactly what she said but we all know that wont be happening. i just need him to finally have autonomy guys let him have a life of his own please. (ALSO WTF DOES CAPRI WANT WHY DID HE GO W HER HE HAS TO KNOW BY NOW IT WONT BE GOOD LET MY MAN GOOOOO)
also we need to talk about wednesday’s not killing him. you can take it a few ways, here are the two i see:
no. 1: wednesday has feeling still. even if they are hate. it’s like weems said, its still an emotion and she has very few of those so even hate is significant and could be a form of love. OR she was lying and she still likes him deep down.
no. 2: what i think is more likely, she recognizes that it truly isn’t his fault and he’s been manipulated. and that while he was free, he did no harm that wasn’t for survival. she wants to give him a chance to prove he isnt what he’s been forced to be, first. afterall wednesday has always been a protector of the innocent and defenseless.
The end of episode 7 with Wednesday running through the woods in her gala dress is a parallel to season with eugenes attack during the rave’n. except now eugene is with her helping to save pugsley who replaced him as the outcast of outcasts.
hottake maybe but overall, while i enjoyed both, season 1 is my favorite.
s2 had so much going at once and so many bad guys and so many locations and certain characters had such different arcs it just didn’t totally feel the same vibe
this may be to characters written off and new ones immediately added and also expanding the universe from “small unknown town” jericho to decently populated and sized that the atmosphere changed. which is fine. its just such a sudden shift for me. like if i watched 1 and 2 back to back it’d be a tad odd
again i enjoyed s2 very much! it just felt different to me thats all
feel free to disagree i js wanna if anyone else noticed it or felt similarly
