What Ikesen characterās names mean
There were only 3 names I couldnāt find the meanings of, Kanetsugu, Ranmaru and Kennyo. If anybody knows, pls pls pls tell me. Also, these may not be accurate, but oh well!
His name means ātrustā and āthe lengthā. I feel like this is very accurate, as everybody who works for him, under him, and lives in Azuchi trusts him to protect them and do whatās right. Also, he is willing to go to any length to see him goal be achieved.
His name means āsmartā and āaspireā. He is quite smart, but Iām really struggling on how to explain it. The way that he cares for people is quite smart, in the fact that he cares for everyone who works for him or in any land he owns. He has a lot of aspiration, in the way that he want Japan to be united peacefully, and wants everyone to be equal. I think this is quite accurate.
His name means āsuperiority, high qualityā and ābeautiful, lovelyā. He always makes sure that his work for Nobunaga is high quality (I guess) and he doesnāt feel that he is superior, but everyone around him feels like he is. He is (personally) my absolute favourite iksen character, he is so pretty/handsome and he is just lovely and perfect. I love him so much.
His name means āhouseā and āhealthyā. I agree with healthy, with him kinda being like a doctor and all, so that suits him. For the house, I feel like itās more like home. He seems like the type of person that, when you have the right intentions, he will always give you a place to stay, no matter how much you annoy him or he acts like he doesnāt care.
His name means āthreeā and āformationā. Iām not sure how three fits into it, unless how everybody treats him like that age (in a non-patronising way). Formation is accurate because heās always the one deciding on the most effective and successful formation in battle, and the way him mind works is like a formation.
His name means āchargeā and āgreatā. Iām not too sure on these two, but I guess you could say that heās always charging into dangerous missions. Great is self explanatory as heās a great person when you get to know him.
His name means āKyotoā and āgovernā. Iām not sure about Kyoto, unless thatās where he came from or wanted to go to, but I think govern is suitable. He wants to govern people in a fair way, making everyone equal, as he wasnāt treated that way in his youth.
His name means ābigā and āgood fortuneā. I feel like big means that he is a big deal to everyone who knew him, as an important aspect of their lives. Good fortune could mean that he is quite lucky and skilled, with the ability to protect everyone around them. (Fun fact: Yuki means āsnowā, possibly like how it was in the winter months in Kai.)
His name means ātrustā and āoriginā. As one of the oldest characters in the game, origin makes sense as well as the fact that he was fighting to get back to his origin, Kai. Trust shows how everyone around him trusts him to keep them safe, as they have faith in him and he is very trustworthy. (Another fun fact: Shin means ārealā, like how, even though he was undercover a little, he still acted like his true self.)
His name means āswordā and āheartā. These are both truthful. He loves his sword, and never goes to battle without it. He closes off his heart after his childhood heartbreak, and keeps it closely guarded as he doesnāt want to be hurt like that again.
His name means āhelp someoneā and āassisstanceā. He tried to help mc, even before he properly met her. He then spent the next four years of his life, looking for her, in hope to help her get back to his original time. Heās always wanting to help those around him, and was constantly risking his life in order to help mc with any problem she had. He always supports her, and is the best friend/guide/moderately awesome ninja mc could have. (You can tell he has a special place in my heart ā¤)
His name means āauspiciousā and ābasisā. After researching what auspicious meant, I found out it means āshowing the signs of future successā. This doesnāt help me in any way shape or form, as I barely know Yoshimoto, so if anyone has any clue on how it can be linked to him, let me know.
His name means āaspireā and āformationā. I think this shows how he aspires to wreak havoc everywhere he goes, and how he has no formation whatsoever.
His name means āpreciousā and āwhite paperā. Again, I only have one tiny clue as to what this means, so Iām assuming that he finds something in life extremely precious. I barely know this character as well, so I canāt make a proper judgement.
These are all my opinions on what the definitions of their names represent, so you can interpret them in your own ways. Iāll also be doing this with Ikevamp and Ikepri. Lemme know if you like it.
