Green eyes darted around him as he laid down on the scorched ground. A grumble came from him as a bush rustled, but he calmed down when a rabbit appeared from the bush.

He’d have to be cautious the next few days as he is scoping out a new territory away from him home near the village of Berk. He laid his head down on his front feet as he kept a watch on his surroundings.

He closed his eyes and listened until he started to dose off to sleep. Finally, something larger than some game from the forest rustled a bush and his head shot up from his dozing off. A low growl came from him in warning.

Wandering from his owners’ side was a habit that Loke has never managed to curb, even after centuries. He has gotten into trouble before for his tendency to wander away, so he was glad that he has Lucy for his mistress now. 

Lucy was, in his personal opinion, far too lenient over her celestial spirits. She rarely gets angry at them, and most of all, she seemed to tolerate his habit of doing things his way.

Ever since the three-year fiasco – something that Loke tried not to think about too often, he found his ability to use his own magic to stay in the mortal world getting better. 

He rarely felt the pinch anymore whenever he stayed too long outside the celestial realm.

Opening his own gate to explore the mortal world was something he doubted even Lucy was aware of. The distance was not something he worried over about, considering that he could still feel the blonde summoning him anywhere and any time. 

But stepping into the human world and not recognizing where he was was not a familiar feeling.  Loke gazed out at the vast expense of towering trees in front of him. The air was light and quiet, serene in its peace. Loke took a cautious step forward, before gaining confidence. 

There was nothing out there that could harm him anyway. It wasn’t like he could die. 

This world felt strange, he mused. He was in the midst of trying to figure why when he heard the crunch of leaves being stepped on. He froze as he turned and spotted huge green eyes watching him.

Obsidian scales blended into the shadows of the night. Green eyes darted around, looking for anything to do this night as he yawned, just waking up from his daily sleep. A quick fishing trip then walking and gliding through the forest.

There was a shift in the air as Loke came from the celestial world to the forest surrounding Berk. A low growl came from him as he looked at the unfamiliar person.

Pupils turned to slits as he prepared to defend himself if the stranger attacked. His bared teeth contrasted against the black scales.

He stepped back when he was noticed and growled, crouching as he backed up. His green eyes darted around, looking for ways to escape if it was needed.

He grumbled looked Natsu up and down once with widened pupils before nodding his head. He leaned forward and bumped his nose against his hand. He stood up and took the couple steps closer to him so he wouldn’t have to reach too far.

He smiled with glee, as he began to gently pet the on his head. He chuckled a bit “It’s nice seeing a friendly dragon from time to time. Most dragons try to cook me up for dinner” He says as he reached in his bag taking out another fish, throwing it in the air like he did with the last one

He leaned into his hand as he pet him. A content noise came from his throat and he watched him reach back into his bag. “Rrrr?” He rumbled with a tilt of his head. When Natsu produced another fish, he was back in the air catching it and eating it once he landed back in front of Natsu.

“H-hee, hee! Hey knock it off. I’m glad to see you again too! You tryin’ to get more food out of me or what…?” Not that it would take much coaxing to do so. A little spoiling never hurt anyone, right? A hand placed itself gently on the middle of the dragon’s forehead.

“Where have you been?”

He nudged her a couple more times before he stopped and he watched her place a hand on his forehead. A soft grumble came from him as a response to her question. He'd been around a lot of places before coming back.

He closed his mouth and slowly, ever so slowly approached when he heard him say he wasn’t going to hurt him. He blinked a couple times and perked up a little at the mention of fish. He cocked his head to the side with a slight nod. If you fed him, he’d probably follow him anywhere.

Seeing him lowering his guard a bit, he let out a sigh of relief. He thought to himself “It’s a long walk back to my place, I might have some fish wrapped up in my bag, just in case Happy gets hungry” He opened up his bag and reached inside in hopes of finding something to feed the dragon, He felt something smooth touching his hand, along with rustling. He instantly grabbed it and pulled it out of his bag. Unwrapping the paper, revealed raw fish. He looked over at the dragon and held it close to him “ Here you go, catch!” He said as he threw the fish in mid air

He tilted his head as Natsu spoke. A grumble came from him as Natsu opened his bag and started to dig though it. He tilted his head and walked up to him, sniffing and nudging  his bag as he dug around for the fish. He stepped back a little as he unwrapped it and once it was in the air, so was he. He caught it and landed with a thump on the ground. He looked at Natsu with the fail of the fish hanging out of his mouth and he slurped it down like it was nothing. he rumbled and sat down in front of him. Okay, this guy wasn’t going to hurt me. He thought as he licked around his mouth.

The obsidian dragon scorched the ground beneath himself as he settled down for an afternoon nap. Green eyes darted around him, scanning for anything that could be a threat. The only threats could be from the nearby city, and he doubted they knew he was here. Either way, he burned the ground and circled, setting the small flames out with his paws as he curled up. He looked around once more and wondered if anyone really knew he was there. Maybe rumors of his presence would spread to the city sooner or later.

The pink haired mage was casually walking towards his home, located in the forest. He just got done with his usual routine of going to the guild to check up on things, then over to his friend Lucy’s house. He was near the front door of his house  till he smelt smoke for a brief moment before it had disappeared. He used his keen sense of smell to follow the trail, before he knew it he saw what appeared to a dragon. it was smaller compared to the dragons he’s seen before. Curious he carefully walked closer to it and stared at it in awe.

approaching. His head shot up and he listened and sniffed the air around him. Finally he zoned in on the pink hair. He smelled odd compared to the others he’d seen wandering through the small patch of forest he’d resided in. He bared his teeth and jumped up from his spot, wings out and ready to take flight if needed. He backed away slightly as he watching him.
