Had a little headcanon form when I noticed that Kakashi was able to use the purple markings in his Sukea disguise to cover his scar... what if he learnt how to do that from Rin/what if Rin had facial scars she was covering up!

Tried to do another scene from my fic ‘He had considered travel in his retirement plans’

This time from Jiraiya and Orochimaru’s reunion in Chapter 30:

“I don’t even know what you did,” Jiraiya said tiredly. “But I’d rather hear it from you before I decide what to do.”

Orochimaru’s gaze slid away, lips curling faintly. “I can’t tell you.”

“Can’t, or won’t?” Jiraiya pressed, used to Orochimaru being evasive.

After a pause, Orochimaru sighed, slow and theatrical, then opened his mouth. Jiraiya froze… Inked onto Orochimaru’s tongue was a seal!

He squinted, leaning closer. It wasn’t until he was practically cupping Orochimaru’s face and half-reaching toward his mouth that he realised how intimate the position was. He privately noted—this would make one hell of a scene in his book if Orochimaru were a woman.

Orochimaru’s glare could’ve curdled milk. Apparently, he had verbalised that into an outside thought. Oops.

Jiraiya leered cheekily. “Don’t look at me like that. If I ever had to pick a guy, you’d be the one.”

Orochimaru pushed him away in exasperation.

“Yeah, yeah, I deserved that,” Jiraiya laughed off.

Tried to draw out a headcanon Team 7 dynamic to shake my art block loose.

Obito, being a hopeless romantic raised on Uchiha love stories about soulmates, and imprinting on the first girl who’s nice to him.

Rin, being a bit of a fail-girl who is aware of Obito's feelings and is desperately hoping they will go away if she pretends they don't exist. She likes him as a friend and doesn’t want to hurt him, so instead she accidentally pours fuel on the situation by faking a crush on Kakashi in hopes Obito will “get the hint” she’s not interested. (This is, unfortunately, based on a dumb thing I once did.)

And Kakashi is an oblivious pigtail puller towards Obito, and his dumb-ass wolf brain subconsiously takes Obito snapping back as encouragement.

What really amuses me is then imagining adult Kakashi looking at his new Team 7 and immediately projecting his Team 7's dynamics onto them... Only to be COMPLETELY WRONG because he was a stupid kid who misunderstood everything happening around him(ie thought Rin's crush was real and that him and Obito butted heads 'for no reason' lol). And he’s still in denial about having had a crush on Obito. (He's a grown-ass man now and can be bad at feelings in fun new ways... But maybe romance novels still make him think of Obito?)

Could not let go of the idea of Kakashi just lounging around his house wearing an oversized icha-icha shirt after lounging around my own house wearing my own oversized cringy shirt when I was sick lol

Fun additional headcanon I made up while drawing this: Kakashi gifted Guy an icha-icha tactics shirt then stole it back lol.

Another sort of redraw of some previous art. I started drawing it at New Year's, but it sat in my WIPs until recently.

This one was a little ambitious, as my art program started to chug from the number of layers lol (I drew the top and bottom as two separate canvases that then had all their layers added to the same one, like an idiot)

I love team 8 and decided to use them to test some colouring and shading ideas that didn't quite work, but they've given me ideas for future colour palettes and shading methods.

My grandmother’s fridge still haunts me with one of my earliest fanart pieces. I ended up redrawing it after seeing her at a family reunion, because she still brings it up no matter how many years it’s been lol.

Dipping my toes back into drawing after a bout of artist’s block, and somehow my warm-up sketch turned into what my housemate has now dubbed “pretty boy Shikamaru.” lol

I am a little obsessed with how Kakashi’s mouth is a :3 mouth and I accidentally drew Pretty-boy Kakashi just because I wanted to draw that mouth lol.

I also feel like I just hit an art milestone with how well it turned out too!

Ingo says that wearing a uniform is very important to him. What if Anthe convinced him to wear a Sneasler kimono while she repairs/studies Ingo's jacket because it's practically a uniform for his noble lol.

This is just something really self indulgent that I made to cheer myself up. Was also playing with some colour pallets I'd collated too.
