First time reanimating something — had to be one of my favorite vocal stims from LMK. I think this was the moment it fully took over my brain and I knew I had a new hyperfixation on my hands ^^

Anyway, I’d advise keeping the volume off, or you’ll get sick of this sound real fast. I know I eventually did.

Jeesh, this has been sitting on my PC for way too long. I honestly don’t know why I always end up going way too hard on the details ( I hate coloring!) — it takes so much more time than I intend and then life gets busy and nothing gets done...

Anyway, have some Mac chilling in a tree, post–Season 5, thinking about who knows what… god, I need Season 6. I need answers!!

First of all, thx so much, you guys, for all the love on my last post! I’d really have liked to do something more rendered, but… yeah, well, ain’t got the time, so this lil sketch will have to do.

Super hyped Danny finally released his LMK video!! Only to skip the pilot, but oh well… he’s in for a ride! I also hope he suffers as much in the Danny wars rn—caused by Jorge’s TikTok—as we did when he made that poll two months ago. ^^

Ok that’s it, I need to stop fumbling with this one—it’s not gonna get any better. I suck at shading and that’s not changing anytime soon! This was supposed to be just a quick screenshot sketch, but I already spent way too much time on it..

I’ve been obsessed with this music video from some ominous JTTW game (idk, only saw it on YouTube), but I love the imagery—especially that shot from the Mac–Wukong fight. So I tried to recreate it… and now I shall return to the void.

Yeahhh I kinda had to get this out of my system. I’ve been thinking about this parallel ever since that scene in the Season 3 finale when he pulls him back out of the shadow portal. Heheh… yeah, I know—explaining the joke doesn’t make it funnier 😅

Not even gonna start with excuses—life’s been rough and my brain’s been cooked. Not even monkes could save me (Season 6 when??).

To cope, I made a bunch of LMK AUs. This one’s a businessman AU—Wukong runs a mega corp, Mac’s head of security, and MK’s the unpaid intern. Simple brainrot stuff. (HQ’s called Huaguo Tower and yes, it has a waterfall entrance.)

I know this isn’t a question, but I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I love your work and admire all the time and passion you put into this project. The way you talk about this show and its characters is so incredibly insightful and thoughtful, and don’t get me started about your art style!!

I’ve had a pretty rough year when it comes to fear, my motivation to draw, and my whole identity as an artist, but since I stumbled across LMK in December, I finally feel like I’ve gotten some of that spark back. (New hyperfixation, yay!) And your art has definitely played a big role in that, so thank you! Seeing the dedication and talent you pour into this comic and this fandom has been truly inspiring.

I actually ended up taking some of your most impactful comic pages and drawing them myself, which is up on my account. It felt like the best way to express how much I love your work. I’m not quite where I want to be yet, and every little fandom interaction still feels new and kind of terrifying to me, but I felt like I needed to say this to you. Your work means a lot, and it’s bittersweet that the comic is ending. Sadly, I’ll be at work when the final update drops, but I can’t wait to catch up afterward!

Here’s some more gay Morkies—finally finished this one, it’s been sitting around for a while. And yep, I’m still sick… and still obsessed with Season 4.

I was thinking about the times in jttw, when Wukong was gone and all the other monkeys were just waiting for him on ffm… then Wukong comes back all excited, wanting to show off his new cloud and some 72 transformations sh*t and Mac’s just like: Yeah, yeah—shut up, c’mere! (And stay.)
