I reeeaaaaally love clothes and clothing design so I wanted to try making fanart of tam and linh while also still keeping to the elven descriptions of clothing (the description is tunic.) - click on the image if you want to see tam and linhs actual faces lol

Because i think its such a shame that most fantasy clothing is vaguely european when traditional asian clothing is so awesome!! Sophie first describes them as kpop stars in appearance, so i went with hanbok as my inspo (also bc im js a lot more familiar with hanbok)!

But the way i constructed the outfit was giving them a tunic, and then putting some kind of outer layer on top that matches with cultural clothing. The layer that i added is the one thats shaded! I also thought that with the emphasis they place on abilities, they’d show it in their clothes in some way, so the patterns are supposed to allude to their abilities in some way.

I think now that ive done it with hanbok, i also want to try adapting different clothing to the “tunic” description that shannon loves to put everywhere. Also want to try drawing formalwear for them that isnt just like victorian or regency-esque dresses.
