Hello there! It seems as though you have stumbled upon my very first self-shipping blog! Congrats.
Let me introduce myself: The name's Nisma. I'm an 18-year-old with a variety of interests, such as writing, reading, baking, hiking and drawing. This is where I'll be posting junk instead of doing my homework. In case you're interested, here's a list of my current self-ships:
DSMP
-C!Technoblade (platonic)
-Lore: Techno returns to his cabin to find a masked stranger in his home, and allows them temporary housing in exchange for child labour. However, as time goes by and Techno learns more about his housemate, he starts to realize they have more in common than he'd like to admit.
I'm a bit confused as to why Jax said abstracted people "aren't pleasant to be around", yet Kaufmo and Ribbit were actually pretty nice people before they abstracted. Jax on the other hand, was very unpleasant to be around.
It could be a writing oversight. Or maybe Jax was projecting, I dunno.
In terms of character focus and exploration, I feel like episode 4 does such an incredible job at capturing the psyche of not only Gangle but the others too in a way that doesn’t feel divisive or imbalanced from the main character of the episode. This episode revealed so much of everyone without spoon-feeding it to us and I LOVED that. Gangle being allowed to be frustrated, manic, and overall portrayed in a different light than the depressed punching bag was such a good angle for her. It’s a shame that we don’t get too much of her post-episode 4.
The lack of music and lack of chaotic nature contributed to an episode where the characters just exist, while facing their true realities without a big threat or antagonist intervening with that.
Episode 4 is my favorite character-based episode and one of my favorites overall. It’s an underrated yet incredible episode.
OKAY OKAY OKAY I LOVEEEE THE WAY THEY TRANSLATED GANGLE TALKING ABOUT RAGATHA IN THAT ONE SCENE
for one, she honestly says “Oh Ragatha, I love her, but” which is a win for any of you Ragatha x Gangle shippers out there but thats not my main point
My main point is that she then goes on to say “after a while it’s hard to see whether she wears a mask of her own” and I just think that’s GENIUS writing and so so much better and poetic and parallel to the english/original version of that scene
Combining my love for horror, graphic novels, and the amazing digital circus all in one for a zombie apocalypse au!! I've been obsessed with the telltale walking dead games since the first one came out way back when, and I want to get better at graphic novels and comic making so here's to hoping this au gives me the practice I need!
Technoblade and Littlefish (DSMP Oc) Reunite ♡ Sound On!
Nostalgia's hitting me like a train rn so yes yall are getting oc content for a 6 year old fandom.
Littlefish AU Synopsis below cut! All characters mentioned are of course c!(Name)
About 15 years before the events of The Dream SMP, Technoblade had gotten lonely. With Phil still raising a kid of his own, Technoblade was left to liberate the world of its oppressive governments by his lonesome. Phil would write him letters upon letters about how proud he was of his little tyke, about how fulfilled he felt to be a father…
…and Technoblade was very, very resolute that that would never, ever be him. He was an anarchist. He was a warrior. He was a murderer, an orphan obliterator for crying out loud! He had no interest in finding a partner, let alone having a whole baby to look after. Especially not with how fussy and loud they could be.
This all changed one fateful day, when Technoblade had found a mysterious tablet while raiding an ocean monument. Etched into its surface were these strange runes…a language even older than Techno himself, pictures depicting some kind of…golem summoning spell? Well, as far as Techno could gather, it conjured up a pretty sick ocean golem that would definitely be useful in battle, so what the heck? Why not give it a shot?
Two days later Technoblade is standing in knee high shores holding water.
Water in the shape of a baby.
Water that moved and acted and turned into his warmth just like a baby.
Water that, unlike real water, would never leave his clothes more than slightly cold after it made contact when it gripped onto its cape with its little grub like fingers.
Water that could open its eyes and stare at him with pupils as deep and dark and brilliantly reflective as the deep blue sea.
and there, despite all of his vows and swearing and reverence that he would never ever be a father….
…Technoblade had changed his mind.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad, after all.
Littlefish, named with Technoblade’s piglin naming conventions, was always a rather…curious child. Techno was nearly run around restless making sure she’d never gotten but a scratch on her strange slightly translucent cold surface-tension skin. He distinctly recalls the time Littlefish had gotten so enamored by a butterfly flying past their house that she’d nearly followed it straight off a cliff. Techno thinks he still has gray hairs from that day alone.
Thankfully, these endeavors proved to reveal very useful information about this kid.
1. She would not feel pain from things people would normally feel pain from. The first time Techno saw her waddling into their house with an arrow through her stomach, he let out the most- ahem. The absolutely manliest screech he ever could have yawped. Since she was made up of solely magic and water, she would exist so long as that magic could bind her molecules together.
2. She would not be phased by Death. When raiders had attempted to take Technoblade’s house and everything inside of it, including Littlefish, he had no other choice but to make a stand. While Techno had hidden Littlefish out of sight, he’d found her looking out at the carnage through the crack in the wall anyways. She seemed…indifferent to the bodies. She even sneered at them when she connected that the scratches on Techno’s skin were caused by them. When Techno found her, she bounded up to him with a joyous smile as if nothing had even happened.
Logically, this allowed Techno only one conclusion.
That he could take her with him on his escapades!
Phil reunites with Technoblade after some time, finding him standing over a battlefield of fallen soldiers, holding up a toddler-aged girl in his arms over the massacre.
Both Techno and the girl were cheering for their victory as if he had won a game instead of a war.
Littlefish accompanied Techno everywhere he went. Although he knew she couldn't get hurt, he was still restless when she left his sight for too long. Littlefish was given a rather extreme amount of freedom as a child. While Techno had never been too apparent with his affections, Littlefish knew that no matter what, he would always be there for her. It would always be them against the world, and likewise, Littlefish would never in a billion Years ever choose to betray Technoblade. Her enemies were his enemies, and his friends were her friends. This was how things worked.
Littlefish grew up to be more energetic and sociable than Technoblade had ever been himself. She absolutely thrived adventuring with Techno, seeing new places, meeting all kinds of new people, until finally they were called to a land that she would end up staying in for the rest of her life.
The Dream SMP.
Littlefish is incredibly friendly to those she meets, befriending Tommy, Wilbur, and other members of Pogtopia. Despite this, she does not hesitate to side with Techno when Tubbo is enstated as the new president and L'manburg is established as a Government once more.
When Wilbur blows up L'manburg, she's stood too close to the blast. The force of the explosion deconstructs her form back to it's original elements. Techno sees her physical form fall apart in the blast and mourns a daughter he never thought could die.
Unbeknownst to him, Littlefish is reconstituting herself in the lakes of New L'manburg. When she comes back to consciousness, she cannot find Techno from the waters of New L'manburg, so she stays hidden from sight until the Butcher Army brings him in for the Execution.
not my highest effort drawing but not everything needs to be a masterpiece. been having some trouble with motivation lately and i wanna save my energy 🙏
sorry if this is too long or rant-y so feel free to delete if anything isn’t allowed /gen. i have tiktok just for edits and stuff but the selfship community on there is a prison. for a community based off of loving characters there’s so much constant discourse and drama and straight up bullying on there.
the first example that comes to mind is the lolcow-esque culture on there and how people froth at the mouth at the chance to be cruel, harass and cyberbully you if you do something they deem “problematic” (which can be as simple as expressing discomfort with doubles) like it genuinely disturbs me how so many people crawl out of the woodworks to be evil toward people. obviously i’m not going to name drop but there’s a literal thirteen year old who, by his own admission, is mentally unwell and has been hospitalised, and instead of trying to help or showing sympathy or concern, they literally just troll and hate and flood his comments with vile shit. and they justify it as “he’s problematic” when really he’s just showing symptoms of being an already mentally ill young person who is under intense online scrutiny and is constantly being hounded by virulent, transphobic trolls who delight in being wicked to him.
that and self ship / oshi culture is blended together so if you don’t have a shrine or thousands worth of merchandise then some people genuinely think that you’re “not a real fan” or “don’t really love your f/o” and there’s an intense push of people trying to be “THE ___ yume” or “___ number one fan!” that part of the community is incredibly competitive. and yeah, i know that’s the whole point of oshi culture, but not every self shipper is also part of oshikatsu stuff, so to see people genuinely think that if you don’t have a massive dedicated shrine and lots of merchandise then you don’t really love / aren’t dedicated to your f/o is really hurtful to people who don’t have the money to invest in stuff like that.
and there’s so many pointless rules and bad takes if you even breathe the wrong way people will jump you. if you’re a minor you can’t have a crush on an adult character, that’s weird (no it doesn’t matter to them if you make your sona the same age.) if you’re a minor you can’t have a crush on a character who’s the same age as you, that’s weird. you can’t selfship if you have an irl partner, that’s cheating. you have to ask your irl partner for permission to like a character. just genuinely the worst takes you’ve ever seen in your life.
(and the nonsharing discourse is something else entirely so i won’t even get into that. it’s about as bad as you’re imagining.)
We interrupt this queue-ing to say HAPPY PRIDE MY QUEER SELFSHIP FRIENDS

Queerness doesn't always need clear lines or labels that fit your relationships/experiences, either. However YOU define it, your LGBTQ+ selfships ARE valid and deserving of as much love, care, and support as hetero/cis/whatevs selfships. Also if you've ever had someone whine at you about your queer headcanons because "[x character] is straight/cis!!!" You're entitled to financial compensation and a throwing stone
