I'm so sick of Indian society and it's so called traditions. It's high time when women realise that marriages don't last a lifetime, it's okay to walk out of toxic marriage and divorce is normal. Be selfish! If you're financially independent , emotionally strong then only think of having kids, because being a single mom is very difficult. Marriage isn't a fairytale and there's no perfect husband. No need for extravaganza weddings.

Nowadays marriages are nothing but a business transaction. Love fades away after sometime. Don't be fooled into thinking it won't happen to you. You are your own saviour. Wake up and see the world as it is!!! A f*king dystopian nightmare.

Indian parents still think that if the daughter is married then their responsibilities are over. Don't be ridiculous. Before investing in their marriage and dowry, invest in her. Her education, a job , health and most importantly a safety net in case she doesn't want to work or was out of the job. Don't listen to society and relatives. No one cares. An unmarried daughter is better than a dead one.
