All of this is true.  People who spend all their energy focusing on Trump just don’t have the knowledge base to realize all of his evils were also practiced by Obama and countless other U.S. politicians and were just covered up by their supporters.  The problem is systemic, and will never change until the public gets this.  Once people “choose a team” - Democrats or Republicans - they tend to close their eyes to their own team’s faults.  The public would benefit if all of us would get on the side of “team truth,” and not be blindly party-loyal.
