One of my friends was selling his gameboy controlled sewing machine so of COURSE I had to buy it
This is a real peripheral that literally exists in the world we live in. This wasn’t even hacked together. This was an official product.

F R I D A Y - F R Y - U P : Y O U - L I Latitude of Silence was photographed over several trips near the northern Chinese boarder between 2007 and 2009. Perhaps by making peace with my life, the teenage rebellion toward my hometown, the confused and unsettled feelings faded in time, replace by my acceptance, intentional and unintentional silence. This series of photographs present a somewhat unrealistic Northern China, which probably exists in the gap of my memories. They are about where I came from and times of indecision.

“Horsemanning, or fake beheading, was a popular way to pose in a photograph in the 1920’s. Sometimes spelled horsemaning, the horsemanning photo fad derives its name from the Headless Horseman, a character from “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.”

The Navajo Nation aim to double their solar power
The Kayenta Solar Project, owned and operated by the Navajo Nation, has recently made a deal to double the amount of energy it can generate, providing clean energy for thousands of homes. They ultimately aim to be completely self-sufficient and give the Navajo a reputation as an energy producing tribe.
Currently, the Kayenta Solar Project is producing 27.3 megawatts of energy. Their long term goal over the next 5-10 years is to be able to generate over 500 megawatts, via the new project, named Kayenta II.
“The Kayenta Solar Project has become the Navajo Nation’s showcase renewable energy project to demonstrate that the Navajo Nation is ready for large scale renewable energy development and operation. Kayenta II will further prove that such development is viable within the Navajo Nation and further move economic development related to renewable energy forward for the Navajo Nation.” – Walter Haase, NTUA General Manager
