I keep thinking about how funny it is that Lauren Lopez is literally making her west end debut but she doesn’t get to bow. Like she has to stay in character and yell and scream and be carried off stage. She literally directed the show and she can’t bow

#so true #in some ways the reprise is HER show #and she doesn’t get to take in the applause #to be fair the others are in character too and not basking in the applause as themselves #but yeah at least they get to acknowledge the audience

I really do love this shot bc while elphaba looks heartbroken and crestfallen for glinda and confused that fiyero's chosen her all at once. fiyero looks ready to pull that willy wonka tinker toy ass gun back out and shoot dead anyone who comes in to hurt her
