I was never super into dipford when I was first watching (I was a billdip shipper all the way, still am as long as Bill is a triangle lmao) but rewatching as an adult makes it so obvious how creepy and toxic their dynamic really is with Ford literally grooming Dipper. Isolating him from the rest of the family, telling him that he's more special and important than everyone else, that other people are holding him back, that Ford is the one who understands. . . . .

The dynamic of Bill stroking Ford's ego and grooming him and then Ford replicating that exact same behavior with Dipper? Absolutely delicious, I will literally always think about this.
