Since we have you to thank for the new AoI game coming, what are you most hyped about being hinted at in the trailers so far?

I’m looking forward to learning more about the Sages of Old— I truly don’t know how much we will learn… but hey! I’ll take anything more than the lackluster amount of information we got in ToTK.

I think this game has the chance to give us a little more depth into those characters and make their story much more impactful. I also think seeing Rauru and Sonia’s characters together and their dynamic with Zelda will bring me peace and heartbreak which is always nice!

i loved one direction with an all-consuming force when i was younger. it hurts deeply to mourn someone you were a massive fan of as teenager, and became a peer of as an adult.

i know people change and grief is unsure or complicated when it’s attached to a fond memory or the feeling a person gave you and not tangibly the person themself. i can see many of you on here are struggling with that right now and i understand.

a few years ago i purchased a home that Liam previously owned. there were rumors the house was haunted. He assured me it was not, and i believed him. because i know the ghosts that haunt us aren’t tethered to buildings. They live in parts of us that are harder to reach and they go wherever we do.

as a parent, a fellow artist, and a fan, i simply cannot fathom this untimely loss. my heart goes out to his family, friends, and the fans. 💔

Something I truly love about the Champion’s Ballad is the fight against the blights, as the champions of old. Link has their people’s armor on, he has their weapon and a limited supply of food and additional items. It is NOT the way Link fights them. To make it better I wish Link only had access to the respective champion’s powers, rather than all (bc Urbosa basically one shotting all of the blights except her own… be limited for the plot… do it for the plot)

It’s heartbreaking knowing you’re essentially tapping into the Champion’s memories of the battle that took their lives. Their spirits live through Link, hence his ability to access these memories deep within.

So it never fails to make me emotional that Link has to experience the battle AGAIN, but this time know that this is how his friends died. He’s already been traumatized enough.
