Wait omg it could be something like that. Actually isn't the situation that happened at the end of book 2 not ideal? If GF is in the real world and his OG body is in DER it means he's not really home. He just has a little homunculus body linking him home.

Honestly I can see it being either, his good friend body being wholly supernatural is leaking darkness into the real world and he has to resolve it by getting his OG body back. OR his real body is healed and has to find it's way back like u said.

nosey ass kkondae choi (though in a world full of superstitions come to life.... choi did get it right all along since a good friend was invited into the plushie). the bit with choi going on and on about oshikatsu photoshoot and policies on bureau secrecy including interior pictures was so amusing but i can't find a way to make it short, unfortunately

He IS known to provoke people so that their extreme actions yield results that'll sate his curiosity. But when it comes J3...

... it's sort of always preceded by him going uncharacteristically silent, eyes flickering or just being shaken up in some form? what if him shit talking the former team leader is sort of a coping mechanism?

To a researcher who boldly and recklessly explores his curiosity about ghost stories, just what it is about Team leader B/ Sergeant J that can hold such sway over him

Gsgw is a great read for a horror genre because it doesn't just encompass the horror itself but also the humorous irony in which Kim Sol-eum found himself in. Imagine being branded as this golden rookie who could finish a ghost story in under an hour, have such a calm and composed demeanor, and is overall competent and respectful – when in reality this guy just has a really good poker face that hides how fucking terrified he is LMAOOO.

But what really gets me is that, in general, anything scary terrifies Sol-eum, but what truly gets his skin crawling are just plain ol' ghosts. Nope, not the serial killer, not the freakazoid clowns, not even Braun – it's ghosts. This guy's both a coward and a trooper for how much he avoids dying and accidentally or intently saving other people.

(Still don't know how Sol-eum still isn't getting the red flag alert on Braun's true darkness grade cuz there's so many damn signs that points to this guy NOT being a simple low-to-mid grade darkness entity.)
