CRITICAL ROLE 4.30 Here in the Dark a very normal and unstressful episode
Anyway you can't tell me destroying the stone won't have lasting effects and consequences for Occtis specifically
just really overwhelmed by the occtis and thimble of it all again like okay, childhood friends who only knew joy and innocence through each other even though they came from the MOST opposite worlds possible and then they get older and really can't/don't even see each other for years but then they're brought together again and it should be such a joy and a relief but it's in the middle of the biggest nightmare possible which only gets worse because then HE DIES and it's so much harder for him to feel anything now including the love he has for her but it's still there it's too strong for it to go away even when he thinks he's going to lose her too and THEN they get to hug for the FIRST TIME
HOW IS EVERYONE NOT INSANE ABOUT THIS
Julien "i dont care about you at all" Davinos
more
(cr4 memes part 9)
CRITICAL ROLE: CAMPAIGN 4 Episode 31: Trick of the Light
Underrated moment from episode 30:
Thimble fully freaking out when Occtis suggests jumping out the window because sheâs never seen him use feather fall, but Julien has and he immediately leaps out the window with Occtis because he trusts Occtis to save him again
obsessed with Thimble waving at the undead pals Occtis conjures up
I need Laura Bailey to keep the strike going and marry someone by the end of campaign 4. Idc who Thimble marries.
Occtis. Dame Gaya Seremai. Murray. Temelow.
I don't care I need a mid-battle wedding, Pirates of the Caribbean style when Will and Elisabeth get married. Taisha officiates. Everyone is like REALLY?? RIGHT NOW????
And Thimble goes FUCKING YES RIGHT NOW
NEW YORK BY NIGHT EPISODE 8 âVIRTUE OVERTHROWâ
I wonder how much longer Thimble is going to be able to keep it together.
She has lost her closest friends and loved in the span of two weeks -one of which came back, but not alive, and she wasn't there for any if them when they needed her most.
Two of those friends she carried herself for two hours through the mountains and Dol'Makjar to Hals house. She won't be able to be there when they are laid to rest.
People ask her if she is Ok she says No and people move on. No further discussion but Thimble doesn't encourage it either.
But at some point she's going to crack right? You can only keep moving forward for so long before the weight you bear becomes too much.
watching with no break so this is alex two seconds apart lol
Something Iâm super excited about for the next Seekers table is that Julien is geared up to be our next Occtis. Not in the, âyour family killed you and now you have to grapple with your mortality or lack thereofâ way but in the âI need people to actually interact with me as a person and not as an object of interestâ way.
I think largely, no one has interacted with Julien in a meaningful way about how he feels about the Golden Orchard and his father dying. I think someone approaching him about that would do good. But more likely heâs going to have all eyes on him because of Thjazi. Heâll have attention but all of it is dedicated to something that he would really rather ignore.
I think Occtis was in a very similar position during the first arc. A lot of the questioning was towards him inherently being a Tachonis and undead when my boy really just needed a hug. But now heâs poised to have his person (Thimble) there with him. I think itâs a really interesting change of positions and I cannot wait until August.
Guys why isnât it Thursday yet đ
I miss my sad bois and my sad girl
I think of them too often
I fear the hiatus from CR4, it has been 84 years (already)
Forget "he's 20 he should be at the club", Occtis should be doing his History of Components assignment for class. My guy should be doing homework. Drinking the Araman equivalent of a coffee + red bull and studying last minute for Cantrips 2.0 test
The way Alex Ward is so goddamn good at being so scary and off-putting needs to be studied by anyone who wants to be an actor. The way his voice as Occtis goes from a quiet high and light timbre to a stony whisper that has this rolling growl beneath it is just phenomenal. And it's so funny and proves how good of an actor he is because outside of him playing the character he is such a bright and cheerful guy. But he excels at playing these creepy characters. The first time I saw him in LA By Night, he so utterly creeped me out.
The way Aabria bounces between being the charming and witty version of Thaisha to the cold and ruthless version of her is equally impressive. She lures me in with her charm and jokes then hits with a stone cold brutality that is so wonderful. It makes the outward persona feel like a coping mechanism for just the onslaught of tragedy and trauma she's endured. It feels like both are equally her way of managing it. She's existing in this dichotomy of emotional states because it's the middle between these extremities where the pain exists, where she'd have to confront it. And how could she press onward if she had to confront it?
