some fucking people on this goddamn site, apparently: actually, bullying is okay if the person being bullied is ~weird~
how to politely ask a stranger what their disability is:
don’t
don’t
don’t
don’t
don’t
There is no one in the world with their heads further up their asses than abled bodied parents who think their disabled child’s illness is harder on them than it is on their disabled child.
not to be dramatic but people with chronic health conditions are literally 10000% stronger than you give them credit for
The fact that Selma Blair, a successful, wealthy, white actress, “cried with relief” when she was diagnosed with MS. After YEARS of suffering, not being believed or taken seriously by her doctors (who I’m sure were some of the ‘“best” doctors available) and being left to suffer as her illness worsened should really shed a light on the systematic issues chronically ill people are facing. It’s 2019. It shouldn’t be this hard.
I swear I’ve got a type of esophageal paresis. Shit gets stuck in my throat and chest on a regular basis. And I don’t think it’s my Barrett’s. The symptoms don’t match. But man, I’ve got a vitamin c pill stuck in my chest that is absolutely killing me. You can feel it bubbling up your throat. Feel a gaseous nausea in your stomach and just a weird pain where the pill is actually stuck. And no matter how much I drink or eat it isn’t budging. Whyyyy body. Why. 😭😫😷
happy valentine’s day to every lgbt+ person in the closet or isn’t able to celebrate today. you’re so worthy of love and I love you.
me: dress how you want!! gender is fake!!! nothing matters!!!!!!
trans person: i like gender tho
me: hell yeah i respect that!!!! i apologize and don’t mean to dismiss your identity with my optimistic nihilism!!!!!!!
Good post OP
