It is considered normal or necessary for women to endure abuse. When a man is held accountable for abusing a woman, it is considered reasonable to be suspicious of her because she has committed the crime of being a woman and demanding the right to not be abused.
When you say death to abusers/rapist have that same energy when they’re actually dead, this ain’t kindergarten fruit snack fun bitch we tryna keep our girls safe

this is so relevant in light of recent events of police brutality against MIchael Brown and john Crawford. #blacklivesmatter
im 12 years old sitting on my bed reading it’s midnight it’s summer my window is open the crickets are very loud but very soothing my room smells dusty and warm and no one else exists. im 12 years old. the feeling never goes away.
Destroy the idea that you have to be constantly working or grinding in order to be successful. Embrace the concept that rest, recovery, and reflection are essential parts of the progress towards a successful and ultimately happy life.

I love Queen because half of their songs are mind-blowing pieces about life and death and love and humanity’s inability to live together without destroying ourselves, and the other half are like “I love my bike”
actually there’s a third kind and it’s called “I’m Freddie Mercury And There’s Nothing You Can Do To Stop Me”
In honor of Pride Month I’d like to impart my learned wisdom onto you:
Whenever anyone goes “Why isn’t there a straight pride parade?” instead of trying to explain and justify your oppression to them and emotionally draining yourself to try and convince them, just politely say “Well if you feel there’s a community need for one you should start one. Gay pride parades started as a result of organized activism and you can implore your community to organize and do the same.” This will straight up (pun intended) shut them up because 99.9% of the time they full well know there’s no need for one and they don’t want to do unnecessary work. So they either have to just end the conversation, or admit they don’t actually think it’s important enough to be worth organizing, which effectively wins the convo.
And of course if you hit a lucky jackpot .1% who somehow takes up the suggestion, it will still have ended the convo, and they will look like a fucking fool and their shitty facebook group will probably end up being a meme or something.
Adding this addition on:
I know there’a straight pride movements that’re dangerous and hateful but I’m also hoping my gay followers reading this aren’t having chill dinner table conversations about pride parades with those ppl on the regular. Hence why this post encourages being lighthearted on the subject.
If the other person is a violent bigot and brings up this topic please just. Change the subject for your own safety and avoid that person aw much as possible.
