What I get right and what I get wrong:
[X] Mike and Eleven break up
[ ] An open ending, but one that leaves Byler somewhat implied
[ X just temporarily ] Max returns with some kind of lasting consequence — victories don’t come without losses
[X] No one from the main cast dies
[ ] Dr. Brenner returns and finally dies
[X] Eight dies OR she spends more time with Eleven after the season ends
[ X just Will] Eleven and Will lose their powers
[ X ] The series shows that, after it ends, Eleven will finally be able to have an arc focused on building her own identity
[ X just a memory] Something more about Joyce and Henry knowing each other from school / drama club
[ apparently she just doesn't exist anymore ] We get at least one more scene with Suzie (maybe in the final episode)
[ ] Vecna, with help from Will, manages at some point to invade more people’s minds — leading to a scene where Mike or Dustin is under Vecna’s influence
[ X ] Steve gets into college or something like that — he moves on with his life
[ ] That line “this isn’t like one of your campaigns, Mike” will tie into the painting and hit Mike deeply (poor guy has been walking around like a level-5 character carrying those miniatures everywhere). Either it represents a Mileven breakup or a moment of maturity for both of them.
[ ] The Vecna × Upside Down × Memories theme will affect someone else (maybe Mike? Maybe Dustin?). There’s a strong focus on the Wheelers this season, but Dustin’s mental health is in pretty bad shape too.
