Disposable demon - fringed spider flowers & blue and white flycatchers

Dagon - bladder wracks & albino fangtooth moray eels

Beelzebub - zebra stripped huernias & giant blue bottle flies

I never imagined I would see such delicate, lovely botanical studies of our various favorite demons, but here we are. Aside from these being exquisitely painted and composed, the cleverness of each choice of flower (and fauna) is brilliant. Dagon’s and the Disposable Demon’s, for example, are disgustingly named (bladder wracks, spider flowers, flycatcher), but look beautiful. Beelzebub’s crown is more disturbing the longer you look; prickly, buzzing, flowers like open sores, but stand back and it’s soft and precious. That’s what each of these inspires: look closer, closer.

I know a lot of people already pointed out that the angel and the demon are just the oposite in real life. I'm only here to draw it down after a very long unproductive day of my life. This cheers me up.

This is so clever and unusual, very striking. The sense of vastness and quiet, the little misting sounds, loose threads of gold. I’ve never seen anything quite like this.
