how to undo in blender (please god)
ctrl+z is not the whole story and i'm tired of pretending it is
Okay so you need to know how to undo in blender because you just did something REALLY stupid – like grabbed the wrong vertex and yeeted it into another dimension.
Ctrl+Z works. Yeah. Fine. But what if you need to go back FIVE steps? Huh? You gonna sit there hammering the keys like a maniac?
A whole list pops up. Click any old action. Blender just... rewinds. Like magic but better because it actually works.
First time I used it I literally sighed out loud. My roommate asked if I was okay. I wasn't. But then I was.
Oh and you can tweak how many undos Blender remembers. Go to Preferences > System. Look for "Undo Steps" and "Undo Memory Limit."
More steps = safer. Too many steps = slow death. Find your balance.
And redo is Ctrl+Shift+Z (Cmd on Mac). For when you undo too much. Happens to everyone.
Just watch this. 60 seconds. Starts right at the good part.
