My Hero Academia is amazing and has also awakened the artist in me.
I’ve been writing a lot again, and I came up with a character who has a Dragon quirk (hence my MHA fanblog’s name). I’ve had this image in my mind I’d desperately love to bring to life, so for the first time in years, I present to you: a drawing.
It’s a WIP of course, and I’m extremely rusty. It took me 2 hours to even come this far. Several years ago, though, I never would have attempted any sort of dynamic pose. So hey, I’m pretty proud so far. I wanna change a few things though to make the proportions a little less... weird.
In the fiction of my mind, her quirk feeds off anger - the madder she gets, the stronger she gets. She can use this strength to transform herself into an actual 12 foot long dragon, but if she stays that way for too long, she’ll pass out from exhaustion. She is also extremely slow due to her size.
When it comes to combat, she prefers to stay in this hybrid form, which makes her over 6 feet tall and gives her quite a bit of physical strength. She also has wings, which I haven’t finished yet because I’m honestly not sure how I want them to look yet.
She does also have a more human form when she’s not using her quirk, but she still has scales, fangs, and reptilian eyes.
Also, clothes are a problem when she transforms. In my mind, the vest and skirt she wears are made of material that’s meant to change size with her. It’s made out of faux-leather and fur, because she’s a huge Animal Rights activist.
She gets claustrophobic in small spaces because she worries that she might lose control if she gets mad enough and turn into the rampaging dragon in tiny spaces.
No clue what I wanna name her. I just really love her and wanted to share :)
