The funny thing about the World of Darkness vampires is that they are literally one of the only two splats (along with demons) that include an explicit, practical reason not to be a complete fucking asshole, because they literally lose their minds if they get too nasty, and yet they're still Like That. And all of them in-universe are like "well, you know, the Inner Beast drives you to be a monster :(", but if you look at the actual evil shit they do, 90% of it has zero to do with the Inner Beast and everything to do with, like, capitalism, neo-feudalism, severe delusions of grandeur, and existing in a state of perpetual turf war. Like, I really don't think the Curse of Caine made you burn down your rival's entire appartment building, bro, I think you might just be a bad person and getting rewarded for it

You know, Tzmiscies are obviously a great playground for trans kindred, but may I present to you the caitiff as well?

A lot of wod cringe mistakes were just due to White Anglocentric Team in the 90s Who Couldnt Know Better. And now the swedes CAN know better, but make the same mistakes, because they refuse to have people outside their own grounds to work with them. See W5 with Native Americans. And with the huge artist community they have, they still went for AI art and tracing photos without credit. Besides the V5 supplements being the shallowest bs. I think the community deserved better and I'm not paying for a product that took no effort in making. That said, I confess I'm a hypocrite for still using my old material and lore. What can i say, I liked VtM, it was my favourite game, thanks for ruining it, dudebros

I like it when Kindred have outdated views. I don't mean racism. I mean stuff like mistrusting left-handed people, thinking asbestos is awesome and a cigarette a day is part of a balanced diet, and treating a 13 year old like a full grown adult because, well, at that age back when they were human the Kindred was already working in the coal mines.

This can be fun or tragic, depending on where you want to take it, and it can be an interesting way to make an old Kindred truly feel like a creature in stasis, out of time.

What do you mean not enough people see the vision in sorcery rivals who eventually look past their clan histories and know each other as individuals? I think it's time to admit that VTM and WOD are not more popular because of the fanbase. It is fractured, nostalgia poisoned, reactionary, and constantly angry about everything. It's reaching Star Wars levels of toxic. No one wants to touch it. Either chill the fuck out and kick the bigots out or don't complain when everything crumbles.

Videogames that don't appeal to you don't have to be review bombed. You don't have to buy product and consoom, but do chill out. And if you're supporting bigoted rageclick baiters on social media and Youtube just because they agree with you, then better start doing some self-reflection, buddy.
