Wow i really enjoyed that episode!! Had so many great character moments
MORE FAROEEEE im loving her character so far, shes so fun and smart. Her dynamic with arthur has been very interesting so far, they both very clearly care about each other but arthur is trying very hard to keep her away from his work while also paying as much attention to her as possible, because becoming absorbed in his work is what led to his faroe’s death, hes trying to be a better father than he once was but in doing so he pushes her away from anything to do with his p.i. work. While Faroe wants to help because she knows she can, which makes me think she might try to help behind the scenes without arthurs knowledge, which might cause some conflict
Another thing. The puzzle book. Is called. Cain’s Jawbone. That cannot be a coincidence. And with faroe saying she believes that the book lets you see the bigger picture makes me think this isnt some ordinary puzzle book. My personal theory is that its Kayne trying to manipulate the world from where hes stuck, kind of how Lillith was able to manipulate the world through Edward William Allen, except Kayne is going for Faroe
On a lighter note, OSCAR!!! OSCAR‼️‼️ HES BACKKKK genuinely sat straight up when he started speaking. Oscars one of my favourites and i think a team up with him, Arthur, John, Faroe, and Parker could be soo cool especially with him visiting
The talk Arthur had with Parker about hope and religion and Parker finding hope was incredibly beautiful. I love Parkers inclusion in threshold, it gives us so much insight into not only his relationship with Arthur, but also just how he is as a person, his beliefs his likes his dislikes, and I know damn well that Parkers going to be an important character throughout the entire series which im very excited for. The whole scene where he was talking about the light from the stained glass hitting him was genuinely beautiful. Parker Yang you will always be famous
Again, love the investigating portions with John and Arthur theyre so fun. Also the pure trust John places in Arthur?? Knowing that Arthur might be keeping something secret (Parker) and trusting him anyway?? The guys ever
Also ending where John and Arthur were like. Evil laughing 😭😭 because theyre going to mess with the mystic literally WHY are they like this 😭😭
In terms of general theories i fear that the whole “lure still being active” idea might be right, which might be how parker as a free roaming spirit was able to continuously find arthur. If it IS right then that means theres going to be some less than benevolent creatures and entities drawn to him. So uh theres that

I really love just Arthur and John investigating, its not mundane by any means but compared to the stuff they usually deal with standard investigations are like a vacation lmaooo
Logan seems to be the foil to Callihan, while Callihan trusts Arthur and has built a relationship over time to the point where hes met Faroe, Logan is suspicious of him to the point of harassment. I’m intrigued to see where he will go, especially if they’re right and he is the man who attacked Arthur
Dr Taylor is TIRED of Arthur and it’s really funny
“Oh yeah I ran into Logan” “Well thats about as smart as running into a doorknob” Callihan you are so funny please don’t die

i LOVE john as a writer, i love that hes got this creative outlet and he DOES indeed have a way with words. I love John sm, and I think the fact that hes writing about his adventures with Arthur is so sweet
Arthur was a tad bit of a jerk to him this episode but then he immediately went “WELL IM PROUD OF YOU TOO >:( SO THERE.” and just. Oh my god these two make me insane
And of course
PARKER. PARKER??? MY GOAT PETER PARKER YANG??? RETURNS?? AND THE WAY HE TALKED ABOUT ARTHUR. AND HOW HE STILL CARES DESPITE IT ALL. AND HOW HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW WHATS HAPPENING AND HES SCARED OH MY GODDD PARKER :( PARKERR
I am VERY excited to see where this goes, I really do like Parker so I’m quite happy to have him back!! The way he described his old life and his relationships and the details of his work with Arthur was so nice and even though we did know of some of the info given, I think that it was really nice hearing from Parker, he finally gets to tell his own story
Um but yeah!! I really enjoyed this episode!! Real excited to see what happens next :D
havent talked about it on here but i love threshold faroe so far!! Shes so smart and shes an astronomer and shes so cool and funny and im so excited to see where her character goes because the building blocks that have been places are so good
I also like how she does show how arthurs pi work (namely what happened in threshold ep1) does like. Upset her at times i think would be the right word. Like she knows that his line of work is dangerous, but she doesnt just go along with it, she voices her opinions on it
also really love the part where her and arthur were discussing old memories (even if he doesnt have them cause shes from another world), im so hype to see where her character goes
One thing though: we know shes from another world (most likely the faroe whose birthday party was crashed by kayne) and that everyone elses memories have been altered to believe shes always been there. I cant help but worry that shits gonna hit the fan, shes gonna end up involved in the supernatural or somethings gonna happen and shes gonna realize that arthur isnt her arthur, and with that maybe other characters will realize, and i think that will be very interesting to see, especially with how it could develop her character
anyway uhh threshold faroe?? Goated love her already
