Vash Anatomies

Wanted to do my own spin on their differences, but body-wise.

Details below.

Stargaze has the smallest waist, toned, a bit bulkier in shoulders, abs, biceps and calfs, longer feet, bigger hands, and thin joints (ankles, wrists). Decided to reduce his trapezius for silhouette. Skin has brown undertones.

Trimax is a bit meatier, especially in thigh hamstrings, a more visible plender gap and SCF, longer biceps, visible hip bones, thickest joints of them all. Skin orange-ish and grey scars. His eyes are the greenest.

98 has thin arms and legs even if a tiny bit more quadriceps, overall "softer", has the biggest pecs and trapezius, biggest latissimus dorsi and small deltoids. Lots of pink undertones, he's a pale princess. Hair is of a warmer yellow, darker.

I gave both stargaze and 98 a nipple because why not. Cross referencing with screenshots and manga panels killed me, nobody can be consistent, even in 98, model sheet and animators disagree on how thin his legs are supposed to be; he's way leaner when dressed, and bulkier when naked. And let's not talk about trimax scars and boob grid. A nightmare.

Let's hope it'll help me down the line -maybe not. It's all about how cool he looks in each individual drawing- but that was fun to do, if only to put a visual on my hcs.

I'm not an expert in muscle names so that description was a learning experience hahaha

i didn’t realize how much i needed a new version of a story that asks “what if love was enough to save them? what if the cycle of violence could be stopped, this time, for just a little while? what if he wasn’t alone this time, and he lived?”

and i don't mean this in a fanservice way i mean this in a “i find three versions of a story that are clearly in conversation and the final one asks a hopeful question" interesting way. maybe ill feel differently once stargaze is over and i can evaluate all three versions in their completion! who knows! but i would ask that people think about it more than just "it's completely different from trimax and that is bad"

i also really like the solarpunk turn for trigun. it started as a love letter to westerns, and then clear homage to classic scifi, and we thought it would go more grimdark cyberpunk. but instead we're getting a hopeful version of humanity's future. to me, that's really cool.
