nah. one direction is WAY worse than teen wolf. at least with teen wolf, you can set aside an hour every week and it’s just ??????? for one hour, and then you can turn it off and be done. with one direction, an episode of ????? can hit you at any time, and it could be 238 episodes in one day or two weeks without any episode and you have no idea when it’ll come so you’re always on high alert. the storylines have zero consistency, worse even than teen wolf, and characters are introduced and then taken back out of the series with Z E R O preamble and often without reason. little plot twists are thrown in randomly - again - without reason and without explanation. there are at least 2117 unreliable narrators trying to sway the story in 2117 separate directions, and sometimes they’ll just change their mind halfway through. even when the show is technically “cancelled,” THE DRAMA DOESN’T STOP. like, at least in teen wolf, there’s an explanation at the end. half the time with one direction, you’re just left with 834267327432 unanswered questions.
listen, the only thing that redeems this shit show circus is the main characters themselves.
