Some people actually can’t cook at all. They burn everything. So what are we supposed to do then? I literally can’t cook anything really unless working because I can’t concentrate and don’t understand enough unless someone is with me or tells me in specific instructions. My nephews and niece cook better than I do. I can do a crockpot but that can and does burn on me also. So tell me, what am I and others supposed to do?

It’s a skill. You can learn to do any skill moderately with time and practice. Everyone with physical capability and the mental capacity of at least a 12 year old (excluding actual diagnosed conditions that render you incapable) can cook.

Practice more and do better. Crockpots, when prepared properly, take double digit hours if not days to burn.

Following basic instructions and basic reading comprehension are both basic basic skills. Like children.
