She wasn't usually the type to address random strangers on the subway platform, but right now Vivienne was kind of pissed.

Ten minutes of waiting for a train that should've been here in three, only for the next one to turn out to be running express to the end of the line.

    "You know at the rate this is going,      it might be faster just to walk."

             "You know what?"

A sigh, when she actually wanted to scream. Karen is not the one to complain ( in public ) either but since it's an actual conversation and she's already pretty angry…

She narrowed her eyes, trying to spot the train again even though she had no real reason to believe it'd arrive any time soon. Then, throwing her hands up in the air she turned to the other brunette.

             "It’s second time this week. I run out               of excuses.Where are you going?               Maybe we should just share a taxi."

                     “have you ever done this before? audition?“

                     honestly, gigi had never done anything like this before in                      her life… she had never had to compete against anybody!                      or, at least, not like this. what was she supposed to do?                      where was she supposed to be? when was she supposed                      to go in?

                     everybody else seemed to know what they were doing, had                      probably done it all before, and here gigi was… lost, scared                      and completely CONFUSED. 

                     god, what was she going to do? 

                     "do you have any advice for me?“ 

“ oh, yeah. ”

      one quick look in other girl’s direction and she already knows: newbie.       big time. of course, so was karen on many levels and yet… there was       just certain, unique nervousness about this girl she still could easily       recall and all too well from her own first audition and others’ she had       witnessed in the past. some of them went great, other - well. anyhow,       she can at least try to make this slightly less nerve-wracking for her.

“ make every second count. breathe. remember that no matter how many of us are here, the moment you walk through the door you own the room. just make the most of it…! ”
