I drank soy milk for the first time yesterday and that was a huge mistake. The stomach ache is real.
I have to keep eating.
130x6x2 for bench today. Almost ready to pop on those 45 plates. (:
Lights shining in a way that masks my acne.
I've been having really good lifting sessions for the past week or two and I think I can attribute that to actually eating a calorie surplus consistently. That's always been my biggest challenge. I think now it's time to start being more mindful about what exactly Im eating.. ahah.
Im out of data so I haven't been active. s:
My gym does have wifi though so I thought I'd take some time to update you guys! I've finally been eating as much as I need to and the strength from it has been noticeable, also the weight gain. Bench a few nights was spot on. I didn't bump the weight up much but I hit some good rep PRs. 115x10 120x8 125x8 A few more sessions and Ill toss on the 45s. As for my lower back, its been consistently feeling better. Just gotta keep my ego in check and stay smart with the rehab. Learned a few nifty collar chokes in jiu jitsu. Getting into bow & arrow chokes and maybe its the name or how cool you feel pulling it off, but they're badass. Training has just felt really strong lately and I even had a coworker compliment me at work. She was like "holy arm muscles!" But me being oblivious, I thought she was talking to someone else and didn't even acknowledge it. Haha. Oh well. Im skinny and not used to that kind of thing.
Resisting... the urge.. to pick at my face..
Today I got home from work and laid down on the floor falling asleep. I woke up and had enough time to get ready for jiu jitsu but wound up just not going. I feel bad about wasting so much time.
Haven't been logging my training lately but I assure you I'm still going at it. My lifting has been modified to keep stress and pressure off my lower back, for the time being. I've been doing core work on a balance ball (rehab reasons) and my back is loving it. I guess you could call them glute bridges.. not savvy with balance ball terminology.
This lower back strain is really testing my discipline. Not so much in the gym but more on the mats. I want to free roll so badly but I know it's almost guaranteed that my back would get worse if I did. That being said, hanging in the dip station and on the pull up bar at the gym feels so good.
Tweaked my back a couple weeks ago and its finally been feeling better, then I go and slip at work today, re aggravating it. Whyyy. I just wanna get back to a normal training regimen.
I've recently found out dairy is the cause of my cystic acne and my face has been breaking out lately because I can't bring myself to turn down pizza. The dilemma.
Apparently tumblr insists on me having an upside down side bar picture. Thanks tumblr.
Ready for the cardios (:
