we were so right when we invented the concept of friendship bracelets and wedding bands and the like. just matchy stuff in general. to feel this piece of jewelry on your skin and to fidget with it, a physical reminder of your connection with this other person who’s so important to you. to know they’re also wearing the other half of the pair, or group of 3 or more, because they love you too…

Your relationship with Allah should not depend on your mood. It should not depend on anything because everything depends on Him. If you're troubled or your heart feels heavy, run to Him and ask Him to fix it. Who can fix a broken heart except the One who created it in the first place? Don't belittle Allah's powers by turning human beings first. After all, He created human beings as well. Dont underestimate the power of du'aa, for it can change qadr. Our Rasoolullah made it through severe trauma simply because of His faith in Allah. He knew that Allah would never do him wrong. He knew that Allah heals even when there is no hope of healing. Remember, your Lord is All-Powerful. There is nothing He cannot do. There is no pain He cannot remove. There is no memory He cant make you forget. There is no trauma He cant make you get over. There is nothing He cannot do. And all you need to do is to ask Him, sincerely, devoutly and with belief that He and only He can fix your affairs. Don't lose Allah by choosing people. If you lose Him, you lose everything. If you lose Him, my dear, you lose everything.
