Polnareff's design is so cool because what do you mean his hair emulates a french powdered wig, an armet helmet with the visor lifted, and an 80s punk rock flat top mullet all at the same time.

Because he's an 80s punk french knight.

And don't even get me started on the distribution of color AND THE FACT THAT HIS COLOR PALETTE IS THE FRENCH FLAG. HE HAS THEMES AND HE STICKS WITH THEM.

If you don't think this design goes insanely hard, you're wrong.

I should just make this a jojo fan page at this point. Could you imagine though. I think everyone would have such great chemistry together. I think Josuke would be the glue to make everything happen but in the end Jolyne calls Giorno anytime Jotaro pisses her off. Also! Her and Trish shopping together would be iconic. COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR DADS! But I think the most iconic duo would be Okuyasu and Mista. That chaos and the food they’d get into together! Also Jotaro finding out Polnareff is a turtle now and hanging out with his delinquent what would you even call him his great uncle Giorno bahahaha. But for real Giorno, Josuke and Jolyne are all really close in age. It’d be so cool to read a story about them all meeting. We have enough Rohan books. I need one with all the Jostar’s together.

Part 7 anime adaptation announced! Tbh I haven’t read it yet! Honestly the way Araki draws the native representation really bothers me. Everyone tells me it’s the best story so far though. Anyways, still love part 5. I watched this season when I was struggling with my ED and Mista stopping to have lunch was actually really impactful on me. Now that this is done I gotta go read steel ball run 🏃

It’s been so long since I posted! The past year has been so very eventful and soul crushing. But I’m back. Here are some designs from my recently completed one shot comic on ADHD. It’s unreleased for now. But here’s a sneak peak.

The story is titled ‘I am not a Turtle’ and revolves around the impact of ableism and the consequences of this for people with ADHD. The comic looks to give a realistic look at how ADHD impacts day to day life and how certain societal structures without accommodations elevate symptoms and make life a lot harder. It’s about showing if you’re different you’re not wrong and it’s ok to not follow the map we’re expected to take in life.

The story is a partly self insert comic and references the struggle I faced in school and how that translated into struggling in my adult life.

If you struggle with ADHD, all versions of it. The best advice I could give to my younger self would be to not attach moral value to your struggles. Try and approach yourself with love and learn what works for you. I mean this in your whole approach to life. The way society; specifically in the US, is structured wasn’t made to accommodate or even take into consideration different ways of thinking or living. And everything is impacted, relationships, jobs, schooling, eating, cooking, cleaning, there’s often co-morbid disabilities and illnesses linked to ADHD. Especially when symptoms are ignored and pushed passed. Everything is impacted. Invisible disabilities are still real and the over simplification ADHD has been given by the general public is harmful. It’s not your job to fix that though. Your responsibility is to find new ways to navigate life that don’t shame you for being different but instead make changes support and embrace you and your differences.
