For those it may concern,

No one probably remembers me, but I was a very active member of this community when it first appeared. I’ve seen countless amazing people leave this community for various reasons, and I’m sad to announce I will be the next one to leave.

A lot of things have been going on in my life that I don’t have the time to play games, let alone manage a tumblr page. I have just graduated high school and I can’t afford to move out of my home as soon as I thought so I’m going to be working as much possible.

Which sadly brings me to my decision to shut this blog down. Not only as a mental do-over for myself, but for the lack of free time I’m going to have in the coming months.

I want to thank everyone I’ve met in this amazing community and I’ll forget smite nor this community. Good luck to everyone and I’ll miss you all 💜

There’s a big stigma in gaming communities around being “bad” at games.

Honestly, I’m not good at games. I have trouble focusing if there’s too much going on at once, or if the scenario is high-stress, and so I tend to die or take a lot of dumb damage.

I still really enjoy games, though. I may not be the best at the combat, but I love Assassin’s Creed. I may not be very good at dodging, but I love Undertale. I may not understand all of the mechanics, but I love Pokemon.

Gaming shouldn’t be about being “good.” I don’t play games competitively; I play them for my own enjoyment, and sometimes for the enjoyment of my friends on twitch. As long as I’m having fun, it doesn’t matter how good or bad at a game I am. The game is serving its purpose.
