Okay SO. I lost my entire childhood collection of cards. And my local card store is genuinely my safe space and god send. They are the fairest and have the nicest deals and nicest people working there ever. I found this pristine erikas dratini which is like one of my favorite gym heroes cards ever for such a good deal. And the day after I found the Marnie Promo for $30. But the catch with Marnie is, I walked into the store with $30 worth of my holographic common cards of bulk I had, offered them that for a trade for marnie because I had no monies, and they said YES. It was even more amazing because said card wasn’t even on the floor yet. It was in a box that was being priced and getting ready to go out to the floor. I only knew about this box because I’m kind of in the store a LOT. And I’m really cool with some of the sales people. And they know I’m in there all the time. And I explained how I’m actively collecting all the Sword and Shield Promo cards and how I was desperately wanting this card. Arceus truly blessed me today. I am now 80 percent complete with my SwSh promo card collection! Excluding the most recent announcements of the upcoming ones. 😭🤩✨
