hello! no pressure to respond but I really admire the ways you talk about interacting with your kid in specific and other kids generally and trying to give them autonomy - do you have any book/reading recommendations or advice? I vaguely remember you talked about "the secure child" a while ago.
Oh yeah, “Raising a Secure Child” is AMAZING, great for fostering resilience. I like — and it is cliche — “how to talk so little kids will listen and listen so little kids will talk” — which is great for treating kids like people.
I went to child care a long time as a child, and read all my (excellent) child care provider’s books about activities for kids and now I would very much like to read those books again as an adult.
