      Mikaela had never again experienced the exhaustion of sleep after he turned into a vampire. It was another factor that reminded him that he was no longer human. He attempted to close his eyes to sleep but of course, it was futile. He brought his arm over his eyes and his lips pursed into a line. “... Damn it.” He cursed quietly.

     Mikaela smacked him repeatedly, HOPING he would just let this topic die. “I said shut up!” He honestly had enough of Yu’s teasing. “I’m not going to say any more!”

     Mikaela slowly but reluctantly returned his blade; sheathed. "In case you didn’t understand, I’m tired of YOU.” Even if his physical state was growing weaker, his desire to deal with the noble was already extinguished. He was exhausted of the vampire at this point but it didn’t change his HATRED for this man. 

    Either way, he wasn’t going to listen to his advice.

It was so RARE to see Mika like this all Ferid wanted to do was TAKE IT ALL IN. The rage he was seeing now is a POLAR OPPOSITE to the scared child he was when Ferid killed his family. The older vampire felt lucky to witness such an elegant, and rather exquisite transformation. From NAIVE child to  WONDERFULLY PAINED teenager, Mika really grew up.

       “ Yes, I did. But none of you were supposed to be alive anyway. “

      Those words provoked a surge of anger. “I’ll ... KILL you.” He growled. One day, he swore he would end this FILTHY vampire’s life. “Shut up...” His emotions were slowly beginning to unravel; his hatred and anger gradually growing visible with each word that Ferid spoke with audible AMUSEMENT. 

     He slowly drew his blade back and THRUST it forward without warning, in hopes he would PIERCE through his flesh. It didn’t matter if there was little to no reaction, he needed to release this RAGE on him. “The only one that shouldn’t be alive, is you.”

For a moment, Mika faltered as Yuu rejected the idea of taking his blood, could feel his body shudder against him. But despite saying no, Mika’s persistence proved to be unwavering, and once again pushed him to do it. The more he did, Yuu’s mouth started to hang open, fangs protruding and ready. If this carried on he knew he couldn’t hold back… no matter how much he wanted too. “I- Idiot, I said it wasn’t… your fault…” There was no guessing what Ferid would do, Mika couldn’t predict his every move… and Yuu was never going to hold him accountable for it. “Ferid did this… not you…”

To hear Mika regard himself as a monster, it tore at his inhuman heart. “It… i- it isn’t okay, I can’t just… Mika…” He pleaded one last time, knowing that he was losing the strength to say no. So many days of being refused blood, and now being offered it freely… his body was doing the talking for him. 

As Mika supported the back of his head, gently moving him to the curve of his neck, Yuu could sense the blood slowly pumping through his veins, and he only had one last bit of fight left in him.

“Please… can’t we just go…” Don’t make me drink from you.

     “...” Mika couldn’t bear to force him to drink blood at this point and could only begin to comply with his request. “... We’ll definitely get out of here, Yu -chan.” He released his grasp on the other to turn and work to place Yu onto his back. The tears never ceased. They only continued to spill, trickling down his cheeks without end. Sniff. “... D .. don’t worry, Yu -chan.”

    He trudged out the cell, carrying the other on his back and making sure to keep a tight hold on him. He paused to take a moment to wipe away the tears. He had no time to allow his emotions get to him at the moment. His main priority now, was escaping with Yu. He was going to make sure that this escape would be nothing like the last time. He resumed his steps and began to formulate an escape plan, taking all of his knowledge about Sanguinem into account. There was only one exit he recalled; the very same exit where his family died at. "... If I just go straight through, there’ll be the exit.” He muttered under his breath. “As long as there’s no nobles .. I’ll be fine.” They eventually reached the main floor and saw that he left the door open. “...” He gently set the raven on the ground and removed his cape to drape it around the other in order to disguise him for a bit. He pulled the hood up and returned him on his back, shortly after. He remained in his spot with hesitation. “Let’s go ... Yu -chan.”

              Yuichiro scoffed at Mika’s words and rolled his eyes, showing him just what he thought of the whole him not being a kid, thing. “Sure, Mika, sure.”

              Though he was quickly shut up when Mikaela started bandaging his arm up and a hiss of air escaped through his lips as he tried his hardest not to wince. He could tell the blond was trying to be careful and didn’t want to make this harder than it already was.

                   “Nah, you’d probably burn it or make it taste like ass, I’ll just eat a sandwich.”

     Mika gently smacked his head. “You know that isn’t true. Even if I can’t eat, I can still cook better than you.” He spoke with feigned arrogance. “I don’t want you doing much so I’ll make you whatever you want. Just go sit down and do something else for the time being.”
