Green Book, a film about normalizing racism, made by a white director (who has admitted to harrassing women) who soley wanted to thank his white male lead, won against literally every minority film: a film made by and for African Americans, a flim made by and for Hispanics, a film about a gay man, and a film made about queer women… A FILM MADE BY A BLACK FILMMAKER ABOUT RACE RELATIONS THAT EXPLAINED RACE BETTER. Those lost for Best Picture against a white man who wanted to say for himself, “Racism bad.”
