Ā Ā Ā Ā Itās something Eren always believed in doing, and itās something he always will believe in. He believed that if the people he loved and cared for were happy, then he could and would sacrifice his own happiness for each and every single one of them.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Erenās life was, in his viewpoint, amazing. He had two kids with his husband, Levi, and Eren spent so much time with them and the raven haired male he loved. The brunet make them breakfast every morning at exactly seven, dropping off his kids at school afterwards and then driving Levi to work to spend time with them.
Ā Ā Ā Ā They were the world to him; His only world. He shined brighter than the diamond on his wedding ring every second he spent with them. Sadly, this is the reason he didnāt have the heart to break it off with the older male he fell so hard for. The male who cheated one night, and the male he still loved with every part of his heart. The one person he had let in after everything heās been through because he saw the determination in Leviās eyes that day. He fell in love with that look, and then he fell in love with the way Levi said his name, and the way Levi looked at him, and the way Levi smiled only for him. He fell in love with Levi, and he will always be in love with this male, no matter what has or will happen in his life; which is why he chose to keep it all in.
Ā Ā Ā Ā He wasnāt supposed to go to Leviās office, but Eren was worried. He didnāt want Levi to miss dinner again, so the brunet had disobeyed the ādonāt bother me, I have a ton of paperwork to doā he got from over the phone, and drove over to Leviās work. He knew Levi would skip dinner sometimes for the sake of his work, even though the thought of it made you sick. Hence, why he had set out to take him the dinner while leaving the kids with the neighbors.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Sadly, Eren hadnāt expected to stumble into what he did. He didnāt expect to step out of the elevator to Leviās floor and walk down the hallway, only to hear some rather weird noises coming from the office of his husband. He didnāt jump to conclusions, so he walked to the door and opened it as silently as he could, but the instance he opened it enough to peek through the doorway, he regretted his actions as everything slowed down in time. As the seconds passed while /her/ hands ran over /his/ husband, and /his/ husband moving his lips in sync with /hers/ while Erenās heart shattered into a million pieces. The seconds passed as he turned around on his heels and sprinted away from the scene. Only a minute passed before Eren was sitting down in the corner of the elevator, silent tears and sobs escaping him while his hands ran through his already tangled and messy brown hair.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Honestly, Eren didnāt know what to do as he left the building, his heart in so much pain that he had to stop and lean against his car for a while to get his ability to breath back once more. He didnāt want to approach Levi with what he just saw, because he knew that it would probably end in divorce and shatter their kids perfect lives in the process. Eren couldnāt do that, since they looked up to their father, even going as far as to say how they wanted to be like him when they grew up.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Donāt let them fall to ashes, Eren.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Eren chose to keep it to himself, with the knowledge itād be hell doing just that. His resolve was that, as long as his kids were happy, he could deal with it for as long as he needed. He endured the pain of faking smiles, lying to everyone that asked if he was okay, for a year. Levi, though, had been married to Eren long enough to notice the change immediately when he got home later that night. He didnāt know Eren had seen him, that he had seen // her // on him.
Ā Ā Ā Ā One day, Levi sat Eren down while the kids were at school. He had enough of Eren giving the kids half-assed goodnight kisses, and he had enough of how Eren avoided him as much as he could, choosing to drive the kids and him to work in utter silence. Levi had enough of Eren spending more time around the kids instead of him. The raven had lost count of the amount of times he, and Erenās friends, asked what was wrong with the brunet, and he had lost count of the number of times their son and daughter had questioned him about Eren. Levi was sick of seeing how Erenās gaze became dull, devoid of itās usual fire and sparkle during dinner. He was sick of the same excuses he was given as he was avoided by his lover. He didnāt want to hear their son giving him updates on what Eren was like, or their daughter asking about Eren with concerned eyes.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Eren, tell me whatās wrong with you. ā Levi hissed as he sat down next to Eren on the sofa, his hands moving over to Erenās as he grabbed the delicate ones that fit perfectly together like they were made for the other to hold.
Ā Ā Ā Ā ā I have to go buy groceries ā Eren mumbled as he tried to stand up, but was forcefully yanked down once again, arms wrapping around his body securely. Levi glared up at the brunet, and said brunet blinked at his husband with confusion.
Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Tell me,Ā ā Levi insisted, his eyes showing concern and worry, fear making its way into the beautiful silver-like blue of Leviās eyes.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Erenās answer was short, and not so sweet. ā No. ā

Ā Ā Ā Ā Erenās mind registered Leviās words and his eyes narrowed, the pale color of his face showing through. The brunet hadnāt been taking care of himself the same since a year ago. He was paler, thinner, and he always looked tired.

Ā Ā Ā Ā Erenās heart was beating wildly, almost irregularly. It felt like it was on fire, like someone had reached into his chest and gripped onto his heart; stopping it from beating properly.
Ā Ā Ā Ā ā God.. Eā¦Eren, Iā¦ ā Levi started, the words failing to come to his lips.
Ā Ā Ā Ā ā You, what..?Ā ā Eren asked quietly, a sniffle and a sob following his words as he waited, his nerves making him expect the worst to be said.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Levi started to cry, but his voice was still strong, the only sign of his emotions breaking through was the crack in it, and the tears that fell down his cheeks. āIām sorry, Eren. I still love you too.ā The words were spoken quickly, as it all sounded jumbled up, but Eren could understand every single one of them.
Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Ahā¦ ā Eren sighed softly, his body relaxing a little /too/ much into Leviās arms, while his eyes drifted closed. His hand moved up and gripped onto Leviās shirt, the hold as tight as he could hold, but it was weak compared to how he used to do the same thing.
Ā Ā Ā Ā ā I love you too, Levi.. ā Eren coughed, his breathing slowing down as his heart continued to beat irregularly, the pain so much that it numbed Erenās whole body. āI love you so much, Levi..ā The words were breathless as they left Erenās lips, his eyes closed now, his thoughts all about how he was happy to finally, be able to be with Levi and not avoid him.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Iāll always support you, Levi. Even if I have to sacrifice everything to do it.
Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Eren? Hey, Eren, are you okay? ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Levi sounded like he was underwater as the brunet labored to stay away, the ability to breath becoming harder and harder to do with each passing moment. A smile twitched onto Erenās face as he nodded gently to Leviās question, before the brunetās lips slid back down and his lips parted to breath through.
