I truly don’t believe that any person who likes dogs and hates cats actually hates cats. I think they just haven’t met the right cat, or been let into a cats circle of trust. Cats are a lot more vulnerable than dogs so they are more cautious (generally, I’ve met some insanely extroverted cats) but once they get to know someone they are full of love and affection. Chances are a cat you’ve met for the first time isn’t going to be super affectionate to you, but that doesn’t mean they are heartless selfish creatures, their love I just has to be earned.
